This came up in another thread. I've read about this in the past and have tried to find it with no luck.

Apparently you can get from MGM reception to the monorail via -to quote dmr- "a secret passageway." I remember it is maybe supposed to be the same route as handicapped access. But that's just a maybe. I followed the handicap access signs and ended up taking an elevator to the tunnel with the comedy club. I thought that using this shortcut you do NOT go down and through the tunnel by the comedy club. Or is that the shortcut? Obviously confused. LOL

If anyone can share info, I'd much appreciate it. Thanks.

As an FYI: Here's a link to directions for the shortcut from Venetian to Harrah's monrail. Can't find the link with the helpful pix, though.

    MGM reception meaning the lobby?

I was at MGM last week and took the monorail a few times. I think I know the 'secret passage' in question. I guess it's not really a secret, but it wasn't marked and was tricky to find.

So in the lobby, look near the big doors going outside and there is a little hallway with "Uber Pickup Here" (or similar) signs above it. Go into that hallway but go to the left instead. This is an area of the casino called "the underground". You have to go down some stairs. Just walk to the end of the underground and you'll come up to some stairs going up to the monorail.

That's the one I was thinking of - The Underground. It's easier to find coming off the monorail than on, though.

So the underground IS the shortcut. Thanks for the replies clarifying that.
