Does anyone else play the LVA Comp City slot game?

I never got on the MyVegas train, and I do like the concept of GPT websites and such, so these app-based games are right up my alley. I signed on for Comp City, and wouldn't mind winning 3,200 tickets and getting the membership/LVA book for 2019. I have 88 tickets from my limited play thus far. I'm not sure how I earn them, but I'm guessing it's simply a matter of playing so many spins. Amassing enough coins without buying a bunch of coins seems to limit my earning ability quite a bit. Am I missing something?

I'll have to check out the Binion's game, too. I don't expect to win a 3-night stay at a casino by playing these online games, but a free meal sounds like a reasonable expectation for a guy who can't babysit his phone all day.

 

I only purchased the first time chip offer on Comp City for $2.99. I ended up with enough points to get the LVA coupon book and newsletters in about 3 months. With my current pace on Binions I believe I'll be able to get a $50 food credit before my Vegas trip in May. Not bad, for a game that I find fun to play, especially with rewards. I also have four myvegas rewards, and I haven't purchased chips for months.

 

My game is not working since hours.

 

Weird...just checked, and both my games are working properly.

 

You redeem in the app and then show it to the players club at Binions. If you are using one of the hotel rewards you need to do this before you check in, otherwise you can't use it for that trip.

 

I tried to load both apps on my POS tablet.

It's even more of a POS than I thought - both are incompatible with my system.

Sigh.

 

The app severely limits the amount of hats you could get in a time frame. I went on a little rush and gained 300 levels playing 10 hands of 100m/hand video poker. So bet trillions over four hours or so. Got a whole 6 hats.

 

Just an update on my Comp City and Binions play. I redeemed 3200 points on March 3rd, and yesterday customer service at the LVA emailed me that the reward had been filled, and the coupon book was being mailed. Since my redemption I've accumulated 780 points....I see no problem hitting 3200 point by next year. I started playing the Binions game on March 9th, and so far I've accumulated 1300 hats and I have a balance of 38M Binions Bucks. I believe I'll be able to earn a $50 food credit before our May trip. Just to add, I only purchased the initial chip offer for both games.. ...$2.99. IMO, these games are well worth my time, and I enjoy playing them. Cheers!

 

What I find odd about Comp City Slots is that me and the OH started at the same time and he's got almost 2k and I'm at around 700. We both play in the evening whilst watching TV. He does win more often than I do, in real life as well as gaming obviously. Asked him what he plays and it's much the same as I do too. Bonus poker at 3 x 50k. I'm just unlucky in the virtual gaming world too.

Edited to add: We already both have the MRB for this year, so we have a long time to get the points for a free one next year. I think I'm just a bit frustrated that he's so far ahead of me. Never mind. I'll get over it.

 

I'm plugging along. I've only been doing for a little more than a week. I'm at all of 223 on Comp City, but I have the 2018 LVA book already, so I'm not in a hurry to hit 3,200, but that's my goal, as that's the only reward I want.

I'm at 549 on Binion's. I seem to have better luck on their slot machine (I only use the first one). The main thing I try to do is collect the free coins multiple times per day, even if I don't play every day, so when I do get around to playing, I can play longer. I assume the higher my wager, the faster I collect "hats."

I plan to stick with Binion's with the hope I'll be able to redeem a couple of food vouchers by this fall.

 

I have not quite figured this out. I've just been playing for a few minutes, two or three times a day. It seems that after 10 spins, the number of hats awarded per spin goes down significantly.

I am really enjoying the Binions app though. I have a trip coming in May and will definitely be cashing in.

 

Anyone having issues with the Comp City and Binions ap today? Neither game will open up fully to allow play. I've played the Binions game for less than three weeks and I have over 2K hats....need 4K to get the $50 food reward I want. Cheers!

My Binion’s is ok. Comp city is playing up. Loads, then shuts down again.

 

I can't get into comp city. It keeps crashing both from my phone and ipad.

 

Both games are still not working.

 

Just collected a bonus on Binion’s with no problem. Comp City is still crashing.
