Room with whirlpool tub that isn't terribly expensive?

Okay, so, with several hotels in the mix for my upcoming trip, a big question is "which one first?".

This is actually an exceedingly difficult question, because the flight I'll be taking into Vegas will 99% be an evening flight, which means that whatever amount I've paid for the first night is effectively a waste - as it will be about midnight by the time I get to the hotel.

With that in mind, I'm thinking I'll make the most of this limitation by getting something I can actually enjoy on that night. Perhaps to stay one night in and move to another place after, or perhaps even stay a little longer.

Anyway, the core of my question comes down to the time immediately after I check in where I'm thinking I'd like to kick back in a hot tub, drink some beer, and possibly watch Casino or The Hangover to stoke myself.

The question is... where might I find a room with a whirlpool that won't run me an arm and a leg?

Best option I've seen so far is the Petite Suite and Tower Suite at Treasure Island. But I'm open to other options too. Especially if the whirlpool tub is by a window - that, I'll pay a premium for.

    Any insights here?

Does it need to be a whirlpool to fit 2 people? or just 1? If the former, your options are more limited.

I think the 1 BR Terrace at Cosmo has a deep soaking tub that is right at the window. Not sure if the tub is jetted though. :peace:

Edit to add: I stayed in a Petite Suite at TI last summer and I thought it was very nice with a very reasonable price. Two bathrooms, one has a shower the other has the soaking tub with jets.

NYNY Spa Suite is affordable and has a big jacuzzi in the room.

Yes, just came across this. Looks pretty bang-on, actually. Keep the recommendations coming though!

The rooms at Cosmo with the "Japanese soaking tub" looking out the window (e.g. One Bedroom Terrace Suite) are not jetted, they are actually pretty lame. The Terrace Studio room at Cosmo, on the other hand, has a non-window view jetted tub which is really nice I'd recommend (minus the view you wanted).

Back in the day, the Imperial Palace had these "Luv Tub Suites" with the whirlpool in them at the windows, not sure if there's an equivalent since they changed it to Quad and now Linq, or if they even kept them. Same story with Monte Carlo, now Park MGM (they had "whirlpool suites").

I don't know about the regular rooms in Aria, but I know the Sky Suites have big jetted tubs also, the best I've ever used in LV.

Ballys has rooms they call "executive suites" that have a huge jetted tub in the middle of the room. These aren't true suites with a separate bedroom, and don't cost much more than a standard room.

Are you sure they're jetted? The website says they're soaking tubs.

The rooms I've stayed in at Ballys with the giant tub were jetted, so they are unless a remodel did away with the jets.

    Maybe call to be sure...

Palace Tower rooms at CP and Tower Spa rooms at MGM Grand run $150 - $160 on cheap nights (with MLife Tier Discount in the case of MGM Grand).

The Resort Superior King room at Excalibur has one in the corner. Almost booked it but thought we'd never actually use it!

I used to love the Aladdin Resort Vista (? did CET change room types when they took over? I have stayed at PHo but it's been a long time....) with the soaking tub facing the Strip. I don't think they're jetted though. Great views!

The sig has jetted tubs but they are in the bathroom so that may steer you back to NY NY. I do love the Sig, however, so if watching TV isn't a must it is worth keeping on your list.

Doesn’t the Luxor have big tubs near the windows? Haven’t stayed there but I believe I’ve seen them in vlogs.

The Pyramid suites do, yeah, although I can't tell if it has jets or not. Website just describes it as a soaking tub.

Easy answer-MGM Signature. LOVED their whirlpool tub. Plus, thats in every bathroom, no need to staying in a 1 or 2 bedroom.
