Dang! I wish i woulda known about the Binions game sooner! That $100 credit at Four Queens woulda been nice to have in May. Oh well, there's always the next trip.

 

Hope no one minds that I started a separate thread for the Binion's app. Many questions and answers are being posted in the one about Comp City.

I was wondering if anyone knew the redemption rules? As in, is there a limit to the number of rewards in a certain time period?

I'll be solo in May, so two $15 cafe rewards would be preferable to a $25 etc.

 

I just started playing so am curious about this too.

 

If I can hit the $100 voucher on Binions I'll be spending a couple nights down there in November. 6 trips later have never stayed on Fremont.

 

My two big questions are:

1) Is there a limit on how many redemptions in a certain time frame?
2) If I redeem $25 food credit, and I spend $15, what happens to the other $10? Is it still my food credit, or is it toast?

I imagine someone will have these questions answered and post in the next couple of weeks.

 

1. There is nothing in the terms and conditions preventing multiple redemption in a short period. They do have the "management reserves all rights" in there as a CYA, but I doubt they would take advantage of this. I would imagine that part of their goal is to capitalize on the app and not honoring the vouchers (per the understood terms) after people have spent cash on coins would not accomplish that goal.
2. Since they issue comp vouchers, the entire certificate must be used in one transaction. They have the same policy at Four Queens and The D.

 

I just emailed customer support and asked, "Is there a limit to the number of rewards one can redeem in a certain time period?

For example, would I be able to redeem two $15 Cafe rewards and one $100 Four Queens reward during the same 7 day trip?"

A nice gentleman named Olaf replied, "There is no limit."

This makes the app quite valuable to someone like me, traveling solo and spending a few days downtown on the cheap.

I still look forward to hearing some real life redemption stories, as it were.

 

Excellent! Then I may need to check menus and plan meals in advance to get the max value out of what I redeem.

Awesome! I might do an over night in Vegas in Nov on my way home from socal. If i can get enough points, I could get a real free room and meals dt!

 

Not sure what they offer in terms of rooms since Binions no longer has a hotel. Don't know if they offer a room at their sister property, Four Queens???

I think it's been 2 weeks now that I've been playing. At first, I played the slots, but now I play mostly VP. I've purchased 1 coin pack for $4.99. (FYI, it seems the hats come faster after a purchase, but then slow back down after awhile of steady play.)

I've had a few good VP wins, and have managed to collect 1000 hats now. My trip is in 8 weeks, so hopefully I can collect enough to redeem at least a $25 voucher for the Binions cafe. And if not, no big deal... I like playing anyway.

 

I like it. I hope to have enough to eat at the little Benny's BBQ spot, and I'm over halfway there with two months to go.

 

Can anyone point out to me where the rewards are listed? Only been playing a couple of days, but stayed downtown for the first time last year and would like to return this year.

At the top of the screen, touch the bar area next to the silver hat. It will then bring up another screen showing you all the items available.

 

Thanks for the info Steph. I can get a little star/spark but no info. Perhaps I don't have enough hats earned, or it could be buggy software, like the way I have set for silent, but music plays in lobby but not in game.

 

I would think you would book your rooms regularly at 4Q and then get your voucher when there, to be taken off the room charge at 4Q. $50 should cover most of 1 night and $100 most of 2 nights

 

Binion's just worked for me. First time all day.
