    My Trip Report

Heading out in few days for a quick March Madness trip at Cosmo! I'm bringing my BFF who is turning 30 this weekend and has never been to Vegas, if you can believe that. But it's the perfect excuse to splurge! I'm hoping to make her love it as much as I do. We'll be staying in a Terrace Studio overlooking the fountains hopefully in the Blvd tower. She's not a gambler (yet!) but won't mind if I squeeze in some BJ and craps as long as she has a good cocktail (another reason I picked Cosmo). Can't wait to show her the city we all love!

    Wednesday
    - brunch at Mon Ami Gabi
    - dinner rez at Hell's Kitchen
    - Absinthe

    Thursday
    - March Madness party all day at Clique at Cosmo - Go UH Coogs!
    - dinner rez at Beauty & Essex

    Friday
    - IV Therapy at Reviv

Only Absinthe and Clique set in stone since I already paid so I'm open to suggestions!

Guess you will be cheering for a Cincy upset after yesterday. Good luck on your picks.

We played terrible down the stretch deserved to lose that one but I do think Cincy seeded too high. But nothing against them. Good luck to you too! Let me know if you have any locks [emoji6]

30 and never been to vegas. ?!? In today's world how can this be?

Good luck with the bets. Don't leave out anything. Type it all there. Tell her what happens in vegas stays there. Be sure to update from vegas so you don't violate the rule.

When you get home and relive the trip, she will say I don't remember that. I don't remember that either! She will have taken the slogan too far.

Super jealous of you staying at the Cosmo! Was waiting for my friends to give me the green light but they wouldn’t pony up the cash. Hope you have a great trip!

Ha! I'm a bit older than her (upper 30's) so this prob won't be a crazy trip but I'll do my best! And of course I'll log it all here!

I played there a little last year so got a reduced rate and since we're not staying Friday or Saturday it's not too high. Hope you have a great trip too!

On the gambling front I want to concentrate my play at Cosmo so opened my first line of credit (LOC). The process was pretty painless, I filled out the app online thru Cosmo's site and a few days later the casino credit department reached out to me to let me know we needed to schedule 3 way call to my bank (the bank wouldn't give them any info without my presence). The call was easy they only ask for a range for your average monthly balance within last 3 months, for example "low 5 figures $10k-$25k or "mid 5 figures $25k-$50k" and so forth. And I got my approval about a week later. Full disclosure, my LOC is way above my gambling budget. I'm typically a green chip player but will happily move to black chips if I'm on a run! This trip will mostly be craps and BJ and maybe some baccarat. Hopefully I'll have some chip porn to share!

Since I started this a little early I’ll share a trip I took in October 2017 that I didn’t trip report. Goal of the trip was to gamble, watch Astros playoffs and do a day of Football Sunday.

I stayed at Harrah’s comped with my brother in a renovated room. Room was ok not great not terrible, the AC broke first night but they fixed it pretty quickly.

We arrived early Saturday and headed straight to Squeeze for a watermelon margarita. So sad it’s closed now!

Then headed across street to Mirage to meet our cousins at $10 craps table. The table was ice cold and soon it was just me and my cousin at one end when a couple bought in for $5k each. They raised the min to $25 but grandfathered us in for $10. I was down about $100 at this point.

After this my cousin went on a tear and hit the ALL which I had $5 on. So we just kept pushing the dice to him.

But people kept jumping in and point 7 out-ing messing up the mojo so the couple asked they raise it $100. My cousin kept hitting a lot of numbers but eventually things cooled a bit. I cashed out $1200 and the couple cashed out $25k each. They threw my cousin $1k. Great way to start!

We ran around the strip that day nothing too memorable. Sunday we got up early and went to Peppermill before heading to Westgate for football.

We got to Westgate at 9am and it was packed. Not a single seat open. We talked to a manager and he offered us one of the booths for $400 min spend. Was a decent deal so we took it since the Texans and Astros were both playing that day and watched football from 10am until the Sunday night football game. Everything was great except the food is pretty bad so it was hard to meet our min spend.

We were all pretty drunk and exhausted after that so called it early night. Monday I was feeling crappy so decided to try out the IV therapy for first time. Gotta say I was impressed. Worked like a charm. Def doing it this coming up trip! I went to the one at MGM and you get $10 off if MLife Gold. I did the UltraIV

After that I went to Cosmo, played some VP in the sportsbook, drank mimosas and watched the Astros come from behind to beat the Red Sox. It was a wonderful time!

Most people i work with in the SF Bay Area, have never been to Vegas either. To them, 200sqft and human filth, is “living”

Good luck on your trip. I might have to give the IV therapy a go if things get out of hand, and they always do...
