Now at the bellagio sports bar. Agreed to let my each of my employees pick a drink for me....

I present, in order from least to most embarrassing

    Champagne

A cable car (according to the bartender, a favorite drink of hookers$

And by far the worst, the appletini

This is an excellent start to a trip report. I really want to swipe the idea of a pretrip poem. Keep it up! Drunken shenanigans please! Haha!!

And we’re back in the world of the living. Reluctantly.

Did the morning check, and all good. Although last night is a bit fuzzy to say the least. Needed some bourbon to wash out the taste of the appletini. Then needed another one to make sure the first had done its job. Three seemed like a better number than two, but three’s only a crowd, and Vegas is about parties. Clearly need to invite some more.

At this point things get hazy. Basically sat at the sports bar in bellagio until I couldn’t even sit up straight and stumbled back to the mirage.

Looking through my pictures I don’t ever see any good wins, which aligns with the state of bankroll. May need to hold a memorial service later. But today is a new day. Plan is to play day 1b of the $600 tourney. So less drinking and more poker today.

    NICE quad. Congrats!

There had better be some Woodford in that coffee cup.

Damn, congrats @Basil on all the winning! I'm normally strictly a slots player, might have to branch out my gaming this next trip. . . .

I loved the poem at the beginning! Fantastic.

Also - Momofuku is fantastic, love the pork ramen and the little pork buns. Standard every time I go. Chang does good work.

Have a blast the rest of this trip!!

After the bankroll save my quads made our way to the Wynn for a bite to eat and register for the tourney. Line for the buffet was ridiculous, so instead went to the terrace point cafe

Benedict sampler. The classic (middle) was solid, crab cake (left) was fantastic, turkey sausage (right) was fair.

After. Breakfast bought into the tourney and won most of my buy in back while waiting for it to start

Tourney table has been nuts. In the first orbit there was a 3-way all in, and AQ beet AK and AQ but rivering a flush with just his queen.

About an orbit later, I call a raise in the button with my pocket 7s. Flop comes A-10-7 with a-10 of diamonds. End up getting all in against a straight draw and flush draw. Turn is the ace and it’s all over. I win my own 3-way all in. Have around 55k now, with average stack at 22ish.

I assume there is 25c VP at the bars in the Mirage and you are choosing $1?
Though I had a look on http://www.vpfree2.com/ and didn’t see 25c VP in the Mirage, but didn’t trust my analysis on the info!

    First break around 63k

There are- bar tops are .25-.50-$1. $1 has a better pay table and is where I’m comfortable playing.

25c bartops at Mirage have paytables too poor to report to vpfree2. Some of the units at the sports bar are progressive and require 10 coins for a full pay progressive royal. The best game on that one is 30/6/5 Bonus (96.18%+prog.)

It's not exhaustive and sometimes dated, but my bartop thread tries to report what vpfree2.com won't.

Second break. At 30k. Pretty much average. Has not gone well since the last break.

But hit some premium quads on break.
