So I've asked the night club question and I am going to follow that up with this. Should we choose not to go the club route, what would be the best bar and lounge for a early/quickly turning mid 30's couple. Looking for something that is not filled with young 20 somethings. No offense to them, it's just not our crowd. Looking for something nice, where you need to dress up a bit or more than a bit.

Mandarin Bar. They take reservations via Open Table. Reserve a table next to the windows for a fantastic view of the strip at night from the 23rd floor.

Looking at some pictures on yelp. This looks like it could be an excellent destination for a few after dinner drinks.

Excellent doesn't do it justice. Very cool vibe, perfect for couples. I highly recommend it for after dinner drinks! They offer small plates and have an impressive cocktail menu and spirits list. The only downside is the prices. They post the the menu on their website.

It definitely looks sexy. I am going to have to keep this in mind and find a way to have a nice dinner nearby then go there for drinks.

Awesome. If you were staying close to MO there were a few places I would recommend but you'll have your pick of nice joints to eat at the Wynn complex.

We've ate at Sinatra, Mizumi, and Lakeside before. We are considering SW Steakhouse or Sinatra this time around? We always like one nice dinner at the property we are staying at then wonder off somewhere else for one.

Andrea's is worth considering too, especially if you're looking for something a bit livelier and not as formal as SW.

    Echoing some of the others:

    The Dorsey - Venetian
    Rosina - Palazzo
Vesper (later night) and Chandelier (2nd or 3rd level) - Cosmo
    Skyfall - Delano
    Foundation Room - Mandalay Bay
    Bound - Cromwell
    Parlor - Mirage
The Otheroom - Caesars Forum Shoppes, it's hard to find but great cocktails

Le Cabaret at Paris. You will see folks from the 20s through the 50s there. Usually a good band. Drinks are not that extremely priced.

I'd either go with Mandarin Bar or Eastside Lounge at Encore.
