So I'm looking at my options for my trip and I'm considering a stop at a dispensary. My original plan was Bell share to my hotel, drop my bags and uber to and from a dispensary. Then I considered that if I'm paying for uber and a share ride, maybe I should just hire a car for an hour and stop before hitting the strip. Does anyone have experience with Limo services and a dispensary stop. I've had no issue getting a liquor store or In&Out stop in the past but given the gray area of 'legalized' cannabis, even in Vegas I could understand if it was an issue.

I have never rode in one to a dispensary but I have seen them take people there.

We stopped after picking up the rental car on my recent trip in November and there were 2 limos parked outside of the first one we stopped at so I assume its not an issue. I believe it was The Grove which may have been one of if not the closest dispensary to the rental car center. Extra points since the place is located right next door to the fabulous Double Down Saloon!!

With tip and enough allotted/paid for time, they will take you anywhere.

Time is a good point to raise - be aware that some dispensaries can get VERY busy at certain times of day/week and you might not be able to pop in/pop out in 5 minutes....

This is also of concern. I imagine that 2:30 pm on a Tuesday isn't a busy time BUT I am wondering if I would need to reserve for 2 hours instead of 1.

Go on line. Have an idea of what is offered and what you want. Make a list. Should speed things up. An hour should be plenty.

I go on line. I make lists. I hate shopping and having to start at square 1. Especially in vegas.
Have to in order to eat at a restaurant after a day of imbibing in the gambling arena without being overwhelmed by the menu. Same with the apothecary.

Not all dispensaries online menus are up to date. Even if they try to keep them up to date - they might have had a run at lunch time on Friday so if you're there at 3 pm for happy hour, you might find that all the items you researched online are unavailable.....So plan, but be prepared to be flexible ;-) At least if you have an idea of what you're looking for, the budtender should be able to help you find a substitute....

I had Lyft take me to a dispensary a few weeks ago. When I got in the car, I told the driver that if I could make it a round trip. He said fine. It was a short wait and I came right back to my hotel. The fare was only $2 or $3 more than it would have been but I left the guy a good tip. No problem at all.

What gray area of legalized weed in Vegas are you talking about? It is now legal to walk in to a dispensary and buy weed, nothing gray about it.
Most limo drivers actually get a tip from the dispensary that they bring you to just like the strip clubs do.

It is legal to buy and have weed now but it isn't legal to smoke/consume it anywhere the average tourist is going to be (including the limo). My understanding it is only legal to consume on private property and not in public areas like hotels, casinos, etc. It is the reason there aren't weed lounges etc.

Additionally... it is still illegal by federal law just not actively enforced (largely) in legalized states.

Would probably be cheaper to just get an uber/lyft to hotel and then from the hotel to dispensary and back then paying for 2 hours of limo.

For those in a similar situation, I did go with a car service. I setup with Omni Limo. I used the app and in the notes section I included my info. The reservation was made but something went wrong because they didn't get my flight info that I entered. They called shortly after I placed the order and we got it straighten out. The driver was there waiting for me when I got to baggage claim (sign and all). He grabbed my bag and off to the car we went. We made a couple stops including to REEF, which was clean, fast, and had a solid selection. After a little awkwardness in the drop off caused by construction (I'm at Monte Carlo the first 3 nights, Luxor the next 3).

The service from Omni was prompt and friendly. They didn't have any problems with the stops and we talked about the fun dive spots to hit. The app was easy to use but they also take calls and web orders. I expect I will use them again.

With Lyft/Uber you can add stops now. So, you can setup a ride from the airport to the dispensary, then add your hotel on there. They suggest only a 3 min wait at the stop, but I'm sure if you let your driver know you'll be as quick as you can, they'll be OK with it. Just make sure to tip them well. :)

If you do this (and we have) it's best with 2 or more people. I wouldn't want to leave my luggage in the car with a stranger....
