Caesars Restaurant choices

What is the average price for a dinner for 2 from Mr Chow these days? The menu online of course does not list any prices...........

 

I went to Old Homestead and it was one of the worst meals I've had in Vegas. They should've kept Nero's.

 

Mr Chow can get pricey quickly—about $100 per person for a full dinner before cocktails/wine/tip. Wine pricing is very high.

 

I agree, Old Homestead is marginal at best.

 

IMHO, "price is no object" is severely misleading and past a certain $$ amount, you're just eating there to say "I ate there".

I WON'T eat at Mr. Chow's or Guy Savoy or Old Homestead for that reason, even though I can get comped there.

However, if one of my FGFs said "I love that restaurant, I'd do anything to eat there", well, then . . . . . .

 

NOBU, Mesa, the Palm.

We ate at the Palm and Ramsey's Pub and Hell's Kitchen this week.

(Does the Palm count as it is in the mall? Still a great steakery.)

 

1. Joe's Steak and Stone Crab (really surprised this is not mentioned yet)
2. Hells Kitchen (Had a great meal there last week)
3. Trevi (Great happy hour as well)

 

Love the power lunch at the Palm....great food, great value!

A friend and I split the 16-ounce strip loin and the sea bass the other night. The sea bass actually won, but I often order fish at a chophouse since so many do such a great, usually not over-adorned, job with that particular type of steak.

 

Spaced off that one too. LOL, it's so far down the mall that I didn't think of it as being at Caesars.

That's what I thought LOL but yes, probably one of the best all-around dining experiences of all time.

 

MESA Grill and the Buffet. Yes, it's a buffet but probably one of the best anywhere.

Never tried Seersucker or Guy Savoy but those get great reviews,, with the price point of the latter being very high but apparently worth every dollar as a special dining experience.

I actually love Payard Patisserie for brunch but I believe it has since closed.

 

Yes, it was replaced by Giada's new cafe, Pronto. Just opened last week I think.

 

Another +1 for Joes from me. Always outstanding food and service is exceptional

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab? Not part of CP property but boy it's as good as any CP restaurant.

 

I agree with Old Homestead. Food was great, and when my daughter mentioned it was our birthday trip, they brought us creme brûlées that weree amazing. We ate breakfast at Cafe Americano once but found better food and prices were only a short walk away at Mon Ami Gabi, our favorite breakfast spot. We have reservations at Hell’s Kitchen in 2 weeks. Looking forward to that experience. Didn’t like Mesa Grill, but my daughter did when she went. Seersucker is good for happy hour.
