Over on the World Champs especially if they stay healthy through spring training

Under on the Cubs. Darvish is not the same guy as he was 5 years ago and the World Series showed that. Cubs way overpaid for him. Plus, they will miss Arrieta big time.................

I would take Oakland over even in the tough division. They played .500 ball after the All Star break and had the 3rd highest OBP in all of MLB during that time.

Under 76.5 for the Pirates is a gift. Over Red Sox, under Yankees (too much luck last year). Over White Sox (should improve a little) and over brewers. Over with the Royals (should get wins over tigers and white sox, some vs twins).

They actually had some pretty bad luck with injuries and young guys stepped in and turned the season around. they are gonna be right around 100 wins this season. Cashman will trade for whatever the team need is before the deadline

Not a Yanks fan but look out for Glyber Torres the "gem" of the Cubs system that Cashman got in the Chapman trade 2 years ago. Cubs farm system never recovered after that deal

I'd put $100 on METS for 25:1 odds
    Over on METS
Nobody expects anything out of them this year - that's good.
They play .500 and get the OVER

I'm thinking Over on the Phillies. MLB isn't necessarily my thing though. I don't know about the White Sox anymore. One of their pitchers just got caught with 40+ pounds of cocaine haha

Gleyber is kinda forgetten about with all the stars in that yankee lineup but he could very well be the best hitter in that lineup in a few years. And don't sleep on the kid Andujar, hes got a good bat as well but his fielding is shaky which could be an issue if hes our starting 3B

Agree with a lot of the Milwaukee love. If they add a pitcher, they should easily be above .500 this season.
One team that no one seems to be mentioning is Toronto. I think they're a solid candidate for an under. The pitching isn't strong, a lot of players are getting older and if there's signs of trouble early, you could see some notables get traded. Combine that with the in-division competition with New York and Boston and it could be a rough year for the Blue Jays.

I would take the over on the Colorado Rockies at 86 1/2. that's a no brainer, they're going to be good this year

    Washington over
    Texas under
    Milwaukee under
Houston under simply because 97 is a big number and the struggles of defending MLB champions are very real. Only about 50% in the last 20 years have even returned to the postseason the following year.

Red Sox under, Orioles over, Astros under.

The Nationals at 7/2 for the NL pennant is very interesting. They're basically guaranteed to win their division, so they just have to win 2 series. Obviously not guaranteed, but interesting.

I wish there was a way to fade the Red Sox for the AL pennant, because 9/2 is ridiculous. They're in a tough division and that team is a mess.

Over on the Phillies. New manager , developing players, could make for a good situation.
