Grand SB Weekend W/Pics

I have been going to Vegas since the late 80's. I used to live in Phoenix and we would take those super cheap flights and hit it for the weekend all the time.Now my trips are two a year and one of them has been Super Bowl weekend with some Cousins and close Friends since 2004.

I took an uneventful flight from my home in Central Va to Charlotte and then onto Vegas on Thursday.I had Comped Rooms at the Grand in Dowtown, I have been staying there since they reopened. We used to stay at the D (Fitz) but we were slowly becoming hearing impaired and had to change. The Grand was the spot for us, I have heard a lot of mixed things about this place since it reopened but IMHO they have always treated me great and I have nothing but good things to say.

I arrived in Vegas and took Uber from the Airport (Never used Uber in Vegas but after I figured out were to go at the Airport it was easy) good ride and Friendly Driver. Check in was a Breeze and my room was super nice (My Cousins had a suite but thats OK) Below are some Gen Pics

















Started off great with an hour long heater on the Craps Table !! and a great session of Black Jack on the 2 deck $25 pitch game Cashed for $1500

VP winnings during the week, I play .25 max Duces wild early in the mornings while drinking coffee. I may want to start rethinking that after this trip...no Royal but some damn nice hits !!

Great trip, I did have some losses as we all do but I had great week and brought home some good winnings over all, one of the best trips I have had !!! Good Luck everyone and See you soon in Vegas !!

Good Catch. I actually glossed over that one. Oops

The deuces paytable there is a bit disappointing (97.06% max). I would break quints in that game with 3 2's since quints only pay 60 instead of 75/80. 222 is worth over 70 coins on average.

Nice report! Even though it doesn't get much love, I like DTG. Need to get back there soon. Abother "I'm Out Stout" whIle making 4 Aces on DDB would be a nice repeat.

You will love it.....It has improved a lot since they opened..never had any complaints to begin with....but everyone there was friendly and ready to help with anything...
