    I could have tried that ginger beer at total wine today, but thought I wouldn't like it...lol

    Really enjoyed your report, proof you can have a blast in Vegas even on a low budget. I was also curious if those "party patches" I saw in some pics actually work or are worth the money?

    I showed the wife a picture of your cat blocks and now we will be visiting Cosmo at the end of the month. Enjoyed the report.

    @tringlomane is Total Wine similar to BevMo? I really like this brand, it's got all the ginger flavor I love, but it's not very spicy like say....Cock N' Bull's Ginger Beer. :)

    @UKFanatic - you're an animal!

    @Mnguy763 - yes!! The patches were cheaper than the "Never Hungover" little drinky things as well, and they last all night. The patches were around $4/a piece.
    Basically it's chock load of B vitamins, electrolytes, and I think caffeine? to keep you from getting dehydrated and feeling like shit. I was skeptical at first, and my friend and I were steadily drinking throughout the night. We had no hangover symptoms, no dehydrated feelings (didn't miss the headaches in the morning from lack of water). I did have a slight headache yesterday but that was because I was running on 4hrs of sleep from the night before. :) I would definitely use the patches again.

    @Kobra2848 - HA that is amazing. Thank you! :) I really enjoyed the cat blocks I got, they are sooo cute! I can't wait to go back and collect some more!

    There was an abundance of various art forms from all different artists, one of the gals at the gift shop informed me that some of the boxes are little crafts which was kind of neat. I prefer the Cat Blocks. @Eleven99isFine piqued my interest in it with the amazing bird one they received. I couldn't find any birds, but the cat blocks totally made up for it. :)

    thank you Steph! You are definitely right - being in Vegas is a treat in and of itself.

    @ardee - another fantastic trip in the books! Already planning the next one - with careful saving of course. ;)

    Thank you so much, @Camp Rusty - it was a wonderful time!

    @spicole - I wish I was still there! There is so much more food to be had! It was an amazing trip though, and I am so glad I didn't stay through Super Bowl weekend. Too many people. The Cosmo had gotten a little crowded by last night, but farther down the Strip past the Linq and beyond was far far worse. Think I picked a prime hotel! :)

    You are quite welcome @Flowers ! I tried to be on top of things while having as much fun as possible. All of my trips this year have seemed to build and get better with each one....which means, the next one will be even better with more food & drink! ;) :)

    THANK YOU all for following along and commenting! Even though this trip was done on a third of my initially planned budget, I had a fantastic time. It taught me that sometimes, you don't need to be "ahead" monetarily to have a good time, expect the unexpected, play slots you enjoy and sometimes luck will turn up when you least expect it, Goldfish is still classic, I can rack up food comps at Royale like nobody's business, and a little hot tub action in the morning does wonders for your legs.
    Coming up next trip: more food, more drinks, more wins (because more bets), plus spa and a show! Now....planning.

    I think so. Total Wine has one of the largest alcohol and craft beer selections in the STL metro area. I feel like a kid in a candy store there sometimes. Lol

    I tried to get M to stop at the new location a couple of miles south of the Strip right when we picked up the rental car last trip. But once it looked like a left turn into it was a major pain in the ass, we passed on it.

    Yep. When you set your trip goals I expect to not make it over 50% of the time. But you've been running better than that!
