I think it doesn't matter who wins tonight's game the NFL will make sure the Patriots and Tom Brady win another Superbowl. Tom Brady's hand was not hurt it was an excuse just in case they lost he wouldn't have to play in the Pro Bowl next week.

My Boyz in the Hoodie's once agin will be in the Super Bowl. Bill and Tom's Excellent Adventures will culminate with their 6th SB win.
The greatest NFL coach and greatest QB ever (who will be the leagues MVP again this year). <drops mic>.

I hear plenty about how terrible Buck and Aikman are. I got no love for them. But Joe Buck is clearly the anti-Christ.

Could somebody tell Romo to stop referring to Brady as "12" all the damn time? And his fan-like excitement and sound effects were a little pathetic.

From what I've learned, ever network's lead announcing team sucks. That's why they have the jobs they do, I guess. You want terrible people in your most high-profile slots.

All the Philly talk reminds me of a less-than-brilliant Eagles fan who graced this forum long ago and shall remain unnamed. I learned a lot about this forum through his antics.

How about the Philly Fan who wrote in his will that he wanted 6 Eagles as pall bearers. He wanted to be let down by the birds one more time. Too bad he passed away this summer.

Was he a fan of Baccarat?

Been so long I don't remember. I recall he liked playing cards, and traveled around the country somewhat regularly. Not sure if he brought a lot of joy to the lives of those he visited.

Really? I dunno... I missed the annoyance some of you feel. I don't really pay much attention to Joe Buck or Jim Nance, but I do like what Tony Romo's brought to the booth. I especially love when he predicts what's gonna happen and is right most of the time by far. He really explains the game very well. No... he's not polished in the least, but that's kind of his charm. His love of the game is almost childlike and I kinda like that. On Fox, Aikman is more polished and subdued than Romo, but offer consistent analysis that I'd expect from someone of his caliber. I think he's good... better than I think Jay Cutler wouldda been.

I do agree that with the recent passing of many of the games classic announcers like Keith Jackson, Dick Enberg and others, we're really entering a homogenous era of announcers who don't distinguish themselves. If I heard Jim McKay's voice I thought of Wide World of Sports, if I heard Curt Gowdy, I immediately thought of an AFL game or the American Sportsman show. Bob Costas may be the last of the distinctive broadcast voices.

You do look a little older than your AVATAR - next time take the picture from above your face; usually works out better. But HEY; getting old is better than the alternative ;);)
