I haven't played in Vegas, but I have played at our local one. If you've got a good swing and can drive the ball and are with the right people it can be a lot of fun. Each person has to have a membership which is a $5 one time purchase and then you rent the bay by the hour. Up to 6 people can play in the bay together and you can split the hourly rate among the players. Here is the price list for the bay rentals. https://topgolf.com/us/las-vegas/pricing/

We went last year just after opening. It was a blast but busy. Not sure what the wait times are like now but the food is decent if you have to wait!

It is so fun. Especially in Las Vegas. The sights of the strip in the background make it that much better.

Is it golf? No, not really. Is it fun? Yes. Would I make a steady diet of it? No. But that's not really the point. Grab a few friends, go find out for yourself!!

Just played there last week, super fun. A lot of games to choose from and good drink/food service.

The valet fellas at the Hard Rock rave about the place! I saw in the paper recently that business has grown to the point where they employ 750 people now, so must be somethin' fun goin' on there.

The company is tearing it up. Lotsa growth. They were one of the presenters at a recent USGA symposium I attended. At least for now, they've been the most successful "golf" company as far as tapping Millennials.

Love TopGolf and have attended 3 locations. Was at TopGolf LV last June and received the worst service. Still a lot of fun, I think they were working out a few kinks still. The view is incredible at night!

Can you just visit and eat/drink without playing golf games?

It's a blast. Great way to get out of the casino for an hour or 2. Go after dark if you go.

We went 4 days after they opened last year. Walked right in and got a booth and played for 2 hours. Of course, we went on a Tuesday in early afternoon, and when we drove by later that night, it was packed. It's the closest I've gotten to actually playing golf (other than putt-putt, which doesn't count as golf). Enjoyed it so much, I've agreed to go back when we return to Vegas in June.

Love Top Golf. Been to numerous locations, and couldn't wait to play here. If you've never been, it is a cross between golf, bowling and darts. If you've never picked up a club, this is a great place for you, as there is no pressure. Select a game, choose a club, and score points. That easy. Staff will guide you through the whole process, so you will never be intimidated.

Kind of a hike through the MGM, around the pool, and across the parking lot, but there is some kind of shuttle during certain times. Was able to score a $10 coupon by stopping by the booth in the MGM lobby...and you will need it:

Prices are higher than other branches (let's call them typical Vegas), but seem a little ridiculous to me. $45 an hour on a Tuesday morning at 10am for the third floor, which isn't even the highest point (some kind of club" upstairs. I guess the $90 on a weekend after 5 might get you next to a minor celeb.

If you've never been, and have a group of 5-6, give it a shot...but be prepared for sticker shock if you haven't researched it.

From what I can see the price for TopGolf is per bay - so if 5 of you, for example, share the bay then the price is split 5 ways?
Thanks for the tip of stopping by the booth in the MGM lobby.
Is TopGolf an MGM 'thing' then? Can you charge it to your room and/or use your Mlife card to get points there?

Yes, they should have a couple of bars for social gathering.

Are golf clubs provided or do you have to bring your own? Does the bay rental come with golf balls or do yo u have to pay extra?

Everything is provided, each ball you hit has a microchip inside so it knows exactly where you hit it, pretty clever.

Each bay has a set of men's and women's clubs. Not anything fancy but more than adequate for most folks. The price is per hour for the booth but keep in mind the more people in the booth, the fewer balls each will be hitting. You will have a server assigned to your booth and any food or drinks go on the same tab as the cost of the bay rental. It's a blast, even for any non-golfers in the group.
