I'm not big on superstition but today might be a game changer! My car just crossed 77,777 miles today so I thought it would be fun to stop by the casino and try my luck. Then, this happened. Birds, candles, money bags.. Oh my! Just under the 1200 mark, too!
The local RSL Club has it"s membership renewal in December of each year. To entice the members, it has twelve thousand dollars on offer for each Sunday of the month. Available only to the renewed membership participants. One thousand must be won every fifteen minutes for the three hours of the draw. Four entries are given to each member if they renew before the start of the weekly draws, one less as the weeks progress through the month. The odds are good for this promotion, they even get better as the weeks progress. People loose faith in their chances of winning, when the cost of the losses incurred whilst playing the machines waiting for the draws, keep adding up. They then stop coming to this event. Odds get better because of this fact. No, the Pokie Queen and l with our eight entries where not drawn out. Bastards [ in jest of course, they are a great benefit to the community.] However, on the last Sunday just before the last draw, the Gambling Gods came good for me. Jackpot win of $207.11 plus free games win of $430.50 for a total of $637.61 for a ten cent bet. That would be six thousand three hundred and seventy six for one win if my maths are correct. Half each, the Pokie Queen and l left the premises feeling as though we had a little revenge. Spiteful bastard that l am. Hate to loose even to a charity organization. NB Over the years my donations definitely out weigh this little win.
Only started betting more than minimum bet this trip and this is what happened. Not all massive wins in comparison to what's been posted but as it's just trip 3 and we won in total $3000 from betting approximately $600 I'm happy
It looks like this was dealt cold, but I actually did draw 2 to hit it. The auto hold indication showed up after the draw and Royal Flush Hit.
That’s super odd..I’ve NEVER seen it say HELD on all the cards UNLESS it was a dealt royal.. EDIT: I was just looking through all my dollar royals and you HAD TO of had it dealt and didn’t realize it; it’s super quick when it happens; but it’d also be rare to be dealt a 3 card and MISS and the very NEXT hand be dealt it...
I had been drinking for about 6 hours into the session, so my memory probably wasn't as keen as usual. I guess the fast draw thing may make some sense since I couldn't remember if I had drawn 2 or 3 cards to it. I also could have sworn the draw was in hearts too??? I thought it was kind of odd too when I just pulled up the pic to post??? BTW, I was playing at the RIO per a previous post or message that you had posted so thanks... Ill be heading back in a couple of weeks!!! Hit 'Em hard this weekend when you get there...
Nice draw! And nice to see the progressive meters don't suck in Murphy like they do in Vegas and Tunica for CET!
Super ballsey not just holding the deuce and praying for the other 3 and a 1,000 coin payout. King 10 2, might not have even gotten you your money back. Glad to see it worked out.
@Grid , kind of embarrassed that is my biggest win, have had a few of those. It may be time to switch it up to dollars Started playing VP back in the early nineties, as I recall the the graphics were quite “Pong” like. Played JoB forever and never have had a Royal, switched to deuces four or five years ago, no real Royals there either. I enjoy the deuces, more little hits it seems like.
