    My Trip Report

Trip constisted of myself (30 yr old Female) and my two 30 something cousins. This was my 2nd trip for 2006...oh yea just like everyone else...I LOVE THIS CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrived early and headed straight to the hotel. I have been staying at TI for the past year now comped. I have enjoyed it. The casino is small enough you can get around in it and get to your room without too much trouble. After a smooth check in, we unpack, freshin up and off we go to give our donations.

We decided to go to the Mirage and grap some food. We were all famished and hadn't ate since the early am. We ate at CPK...good as usual. We decided to play some $1 VP there and I sit down at the first machine...put in $20...four 4's!! I cash out and decide I am only going to put in the original $20 and move on. What do you know...four 10's! So I am up $250 as I am only playing Bonus. Machine continues small payouts but eventually goes dry. We move on to another set of VP machines. Another $20 and another four of a kind!! I am on fire!! Now I could have stayed at the Mirage until I started to lose, but they are still doing construction and it was so LOUD that you couldn't not even talk let alone think. We decided to head over to the Forum Shops. We played a little at Caesar's, but I have NEVER had any luck here...EVER! We sat and played VP for an hour or so and decided to go back to TI. We had a 7pm Delmonico's reservation. I couldn't stop gambling, so I played some craps...boy am I glad I did that! Table was hot! I walked away there up a few hundred in a matter of minutes! Ran upstairs...well not literally ran...changed and headed over to Delmonico's and was only a few minutes late. I don't know what to say about this place. It is my favorite and I have never had a bad meal here. The only dissapointment was that they do not have the chocolate souffle' anymore. When I was there in February, they did it special. Not tonight though. Oh well...I was up...and in my favorite city! After dinner we headed over to my favorite casino...Bellagio! I love this place everytime I am there and continues to be my favorite. I decided I was done with VP for the day. I sat at a BJ table and the rest is history. I left Bellagio up a over $3000!!! I lost count of blackjacks at around 20+! Plus it was a continuous feed table. My cousin got a little loaded so we headed back to TI and I played some more craps. Nothing to write about. In bed around 1am.

    Saturday
My one cousin had to go home today. She works for Frontier Airlines, so she had to go early to get home via standby. So me and my cousin that was left we went and grabbed breakfast at the cafe in TI. Decent breakfast...when it is free you really can't complain, right? We showered up and went to Wynn and played there for a while. I am not a slot machine player at all, but I put at least $20 in a Megabucks...you never know right? I played for an hour or so on this one machine. It ended up taking everything I won and then some...those damn machines get you hooked! This is why I hate them! We walked up the strip to Margaritaville. Had some lunch and some very yummy cocktails. The weather was so fabulous. We sat there on the deck for I think was almost 3 hours! Then we went to my favorite...Bellagio! Did pretty decent and we watched the fountains. They are always so beautiful to me. I love them! However, I usually like watching from the Fontana Bar and they had WPT going on in there so it was closed. That sucked! Back to the room to give the feet a rest and get ready for Saturday night in Vegas.

Got freshened up and went to Isla in TI. I love their mojito's here. The food is always real good and it was not dissapointing this time. We walked over to Harrah's to Toby Keith's bar. I love this bar! Hee Hee...listened to the band for while and people watched. That is always one of the best activities in LV. THE PEOPLE! Gambled a while in Harrah's...caught up with all of the bartenders that my parents know there. They have been going to Harrah's before it was Harrah's and it was the Showboat! There are still a few employees left. Back to TI and gambled some more...BJ, craps and a little VP. Nothing to write about again! Still up though and I go home tomorrow. In bed around 1am again.

    Sunday
We ate the Brunch at TI and it was suprisingly really good! Then we went back to Bellagio as my cousin had a ticket that she didn't cash in. I am not complaining...not yet anyway. We they were determined to get all of their money back today! I could not win to save my life. I finally found a table that paid my VERY LITTLE. After a complete A** whoopin...I was outta there until next time.

We had to leave to go to the airport...another sad good bye.

Loved your report but now I'm more depressed than ever. I am forever making the investment aka donation and have never gotten a return on my money. Oh well! I always have a good time and eat very well.

Can you elaborate on your BJ table? Limits etc?

ddwhit, thanks for the trip report. We have friends that are staying at the Mirage for four nights next week and they would like to know where to stay to avoid the construction noise. Is it just in the casino area or hotel area also?

Most of the noise that I could hear/see was in the back part of the casino...To the far right of Cravings. It was like jackhammering at a million decibels!! Maybe by next week they will be done!

To answer my BJ table play...

I am a $25 minimum player...since most places you have to start there to get rated. However the table I was at was a $15 minimum. I started out playing two hands @ $25/hand. Then when it started to get hot, I went up to 2 @ $50 and then 2 @$75. It was great fun while it lasted. I couldn't believe all the BJ's I was getting with the continuous shuffle. Of course it only lasted a short while, but enough time to bank some cash!

Perfect example of why this city is so spectacular. Glad you had a great time. Also, incredibly jealous of your winning streak.

Turns out I was at the Mirage the same weekend. The construction is between the poker room and the high limit room at the back of the casino. I could not hear it from my room. They are building a theatre for a new Cirque show, "Love". It's based on Beatles music and opens soon, maybe May?
