As long as I can retain my Diamond status I am fine. I will never get above that and am realistic that the only benefits I use and care about are the 100.00 dinner voucher, Diamond Check In, Diamond Lounge , if it is free to enter, and better seating at CET restaurants. Since I don't use cabs anymore, the cab line bene is not important. So, my tier score at around 16,000 for 2017 was probably where I will end up this year as well at CET. Probably, I will continue to be Pearl at MLife, which really has little value. For me, it's all about the RCs and ECs that translate into free meals, etc. on my Vegas trips.

Are you saving up the reward credits for anything in particular? That's a lot of Reward Credits for someone who's not even Diamond!

My tier score was pitiful to everyone except Caesars. I don't gamble for higher tier scores, i am Gold, will always be Gold, and Gold is MY end of the rainbow. I am booked at Harrah's for the Spring 2018, 5 nights comped, even though my tier score is laughable to most people. I stayed at LinQ this past August, again comped for 5 nights.
My situation is not ideal for most people. I prefer going solo, i like to stay 5 nights, preferably all comped, which is why i don't accept offers because of the limitations it brings. That is why i have no need for hosts. Hosts do a wonderful job in serving their clients for what they need in Vegas, but in my situation i don't need dining, show, or any other options that hosts can bring.
That's why i use the rate calendar instead, i look at which month i'm interested in, then look at which week is comped, then book. I no longer work anymore, so my schedule is very flexable.

I get bombarded with e-mail offers from Caesars, MGM, and Boyd practically every day, including the Visa card which, if i accept get rewarded with a higher tier. But instead, i like getting rewarded with 5 free nights, and, i also get rewarded with "say & play" by doing surveys which gives me RC's, which in turn gives me money i can then use to pay back my resort fee.

No wonder i have and always will love Vegas............for people like me,vacationing in Vegas is still inexpensive, even in the heart of the Strip, can have a great, fun time without the burden of having to adhere to expectations i will never achieve.

TR Visa baby! That's why I don't pay to eat at the best CET places when I go.
