Heading to Vegas before Xmas and was wondering if there are any casinos worth popping into just to see their Christmas displays? I figure with Vegas' over the top nature that some of them probably go nuts with the decorations and that it might be worthwhile checking it out while walking the strip while I'm there.
Wynn has a lovely display with white and gold trees and miniature villages. Aria walkway has a nice display. Cosmopolitan has a Holiday/Skating rink area.
Absolutely the Bellagio. They change displays four or five times a year and the Christmas one is always beautiful.
...and MGM has a nice one in the lobby. Among other decorations, the gold lion is wearing a Santa hat.
My husband and I will be in Vegas in 10 days and this will be my third time going this time of year. I love it. Big Christmas trees everywhere. The Fountains play Christmas songs and I've heard the Venetian does a show across their outside street bridge. I think it's at 8pm.
There is a massive tree in The Crystals mall between Aria and Cosmo. The Park has tons of lights, a tree and skating rink as well. We were there during the day and it was nice but drove past it at night on the way to the airport and it was really lit up. If you venture towards the waterfall at The Venetian they also have some Christmas decorations.
