I went downstairs and played for about an hour.
I wasn't having much luck so I headed back upstairs where my husband had finally woken up.

We were both pretty hungry at that point so we headed down to Margaritaville and got some take out.
We played a little bit there but the machines were eating my 20s as fast as I could feed them in.
We ate and went to bed.
This morning our original plan was to grab some White Castle and hit the wax museum but my husband's stomach has other ideas.
I'm pretty sure he has gallstones and has for a couple of years, but he refuses to go to the doctor. Anyhoo, had a flair up this morning and it took until around noon until he felt better.
No biggie as we have no plans on Friday so we will just move the museum to that day.
We got up, showered and caught a cab to The Mirage. We didn't realize how close it was so we will probably just walk back when we return to the Flamingo on Wednesday.
Check in was a breeze. I didn't do the 20 dollar trick but was offered and bedroom suite for 75 bucks a night and took it. Since this reservation was a Myvegas comp, I had no problem with this at all. The desk clerk said it's normally 150 for this upgrade but because the week before thanksgiving is a slower time The had cut the price.
At any rate, this suite is bigger than my friggin house. I'm pretty sure I never want to leave.

I'll upload the video a little later.
Right now we are chilling in the room before we get ready to head down for our five o clock reservation at Portofino and then on to the Love show.
Tomorrow my friend is treating me to the spa at the Hard Rock.

Sorry to hear that about your husbands gallstones. Tell him to drink lots of apple juice, it helps break them up. He should also try a gallbladder cleanse when you get back home.
Great report so far, GWAR really have amazing costumes!

Dinner and the show we're both amazing!!
We ordered the Burrata Agnolotti and the Veal Osso Buco. We shared them both and each was equally good.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
The show was amazing. We have never seen a circ show before, but I'm so glad we went. So much going on and an ever transforming stage. It was an overload. You would need to see the show at least five times to catch most of the stuff happening, but it was just so cool.
Our seats were nosebleeds but there is no bad seat for this show.
We are tucked back up in the suite right now relaxing a bit before heading down for a late night snack and some gambling.
Here is the video of our room here at The Mirage. Ignore my ramblings, I was a bit awed by it all.

I'd never heard of GWAR until last week at work when my coworker was showing me a video of them, and now I see them on here. LOL

I'm at Pantry getting a midnight snack and my server has a mullet listening to him flirt with this chick. I wish I could video it for you guys. It is humor.

That is awesome! I've stayed plenty of times at mirage and can never get a suite (unless I want to pay $500/night! Good luck the rest of the way! :drunk:

Woke up far too early this morning in my opinion.
Showered and took a cab over to the Hard Rock to meet my friend K and get some Spa time in. It was pretty awesome. Lots of time in the saltwater pool and the hot tub before and after our Rock Star massages.
My masseuse was Chris and she was pretty amazing.
Around four we got showered and ready and then headed over to Harrah's where we dined at the diamond lounge before losing at some slots and then seeing Menopause, The musical.
Sorry I don't have many pics, but I rarely get to spend this time with K anymore so I was just enjoying the day and our conversations.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
The show was really cute. I had seen it years ago and was really looking forward to the added Cindy Williams bits, but alas it wasn't to be. She had injured herself and was not able to make the show tonight. :(
It was still a very enjoyable show. K actually owns a theater company where we live so it was really cool to actually go see a show with her. Normally I'm acting in one she is directing. It was fun to see her in the other side, enjoying the show.
I am currently back at The Mirage relaxing after such a lovely day. Rob has returned to Flamingo since he has more toys to play with there. His guitar and pairing supply's are there so rather than be bored all day here, he opted to go back.
Not that I don't love my husband with all my heart, but it's nice to have a small break after being together 24/7 for 3 1/2 days. :)
I'm planning on taking a swim in this giant tub and heading down for some gambling later, but nothing too major.
Tomorrow I check out (noooooooooo, I don't want to leave!!!!) and head back to the Flamingo.

Last night was a bust as far as gambling was concerned. I'd like to say I quit while I was ahead, but I never GOT ahead.
Oh well, it had been a very good day. Got another midnight snack from The Pantry (fish n chips) and called it a night.
Rob joined me around five this morning and we slept until nine thirty.
Checked out of the suite by 11:00 and walked over to White Castle for some lunch and now we are back in our room at the Flamingo.
Nothing much on the agenda today but I'm sure we can find ourselves some trouble somewhere. :)
