My table is right near the food. I guess these diamonds spend all their money on gambling instead of food. They pile he plate super high with wings and such.

Houston we have a problem. Bellagio has moved and/or removed my favorite fireball slot machines

The free play return sucks but otherwise your trip is off to a great start! Love your seat on the plane, the sunrise view before take off and of course the landing and your room. Glad to see you had a chance to check out the Paris Diamond Lounge. The food is a bit more substantial at Flamingo and Rio and is close to a meal at Harrah's with great old school bartenders.

Ha Ha, I'm one of those tier matching temporary 'diamonds' and this summer we tried the DL at Harrahs, food was quite nice for what it is. Line was long to enter and to queue up for food so my husband grabbed a table because it was so crowded and I made a plate for each of us. I hear a guy several people behind me in line yelling at the top of his lungs 'hey, save some for the rest of us'. I realized he meant me cause he was looking straight at me. I looked at my two plates with celery, dip, and three wings on each plate and was so embarassed I stepped out of line and sat down. What's weird is a lady behind me had so much food on her plate it was spilling off. The waitress/bartender was very nice and friendly. We ate quickly and left, my husband said the desserts were good. Not sure I want to do that again.

I have to agree with your observation, as a slot player, I'll run five hundred through a machine without a second thought, but if someone mentions free food I'm at the front of the line as though it's my last meal. Only a real degen does that.

I'm a big fan of two/three table tourneys, they take about 3-4 hours then I can eat/drink for a few hours---make a few sports bets---and have at it again

 

I forgot to mention I have a chart of the poker tournaments so I know my options when I want to play during the day. I don’t have Caesars on it since I haven’t played there since they drastically increased the buy ins and moved the poker room.



I update it before my trip from internet info, which is usually accurate. I take a screen shot and then have it on my phone. I know it’s a little or a lot Anal, but makes it easy.

I tried to stay up but I fell asleep since I had been up since after 5 east coast time. Now I am up at 4:00 am which is usual for me when I go to pacific time.

This is breakfast. I brought a box with me, not cause I am cheap, I am not a big breakfast person and trying to limit my weight gain from everything else I am eating. I’ll get coffee once I head out.
