Yeah. I'll go at 10 AM and take a book. Last time people cut in line, and no one would do anything. :(

I checked Le Village (Paris) which is possibly the only strip buffet that allows reservations a few weeks ago and you could make reservations; just checked now and you cannot at anytime on Thanksgiving. Things change all the time so perhaps they'll open more reservations.

Also since I cannot find the Thanksgiving details on the M/Studio B website I just called them...Rep stated they'll open at 11am and cost should be $39.99.

I wanted to reserve lunch for my dad and I at Mesa Grill - but to make it online (using OpenTable), they wanted a $50 hold! Has anyone else had that issue when trying to book at certain restaurants? I've used OpenTable forever and never encountered that - Bobby Flay must hold that place to a high standard.

I read a while back that opentable was going to start doing that.
Haven't come across it yet when we've booked.

Try calling the Mesa grill directly...Sucks but you have wonder what the no show rate is.

Yes, at one of the upper-scale places in Chicago a few years ago on a Saturday evening. They wanted the hold to weed out no-shows on a popular weekend evening I'm sure.

FYI that they are offering this menu all weekend long...You'd imagine Friday would be the least busy.

I booked a table for my dad and I at Allegro at the Wynn - the menu seemed traditional, but also featured a lot of yummy sounding food.

It's still a toss up between there and Wolfgang Puck's Bar & Grill at the MGM, that menu sounded good too!

Envy, envy, envy. I hope you have a great trip and a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. We have the biggest house so we host the family Thanksgiving and Christmas-people, dogs and food everywhere. My reward is our annual winter trip to Wynn in January. My countdown clock says 62. I am not in the holiday spirit at all, but I’m always ready for Las Vegas. Sigh.

My father and I are going to Allegro at the Wynn - they had one of the more traditional Thanskgiving menus, which I think my dad will like, so I'm excited!

That sounds like a blast! Especially the dog party and all that food!

I love cooking, so the holidays are some of my favorite time of year!

January will be here before ya know it! :)
