    My Trip Report

Going to attempt another trip report as I did one over a year ago. I will be staying at Paris all 5 nights but also have a night reserved at Orleans on Monday night so I can shoot over there and get some Boyd play in. I usually stay at up to 4 different places over a week but this time I am going to stay predominantly at a central location and chill. I have never stayed at Paris so this is a first for me.

Flying out of Orlando tomorrow morning and arriving in Vegas at 8:30 in the morning. Probably chill playing video poker and wander until I can get checked into room.

I'm a pretty simple man and so are my objectives:

    1. Drink Crown and Coke and play video poker, primarily at the bar.
    2. Eat. Not something I really like to do but I need to stay on top of it so I don't spend a day during my trip in
my room hungover, telling myself how stupid I am.
    3. Watch football on Saturday and Sunday and do a little bit of wagering to keep me off the machines.
    4. Hitting the CZR casinos on that side of strip as well as Bellagio, Cosmo, Mirage and CP.
    5. Thinking of hitting a poker room but kind of intimidated by that.

That's all I can come up with right now. I will do my best with pictures (gotta remember how to do it) and keep you all updated. If have any questions please ask and I'm open for suggestions on poker rooms for beginners and places to watch and bet on sports.

    Thanks!!

For beginners, I like the CET casinos for poker ... Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Harrahs. Rather friendly and the games are rather soft.

I’d love to try a poker room but I’m afraid I’ll check/fold or worse. Does any casino offer lessons?

Best of luck on your trip and looking fwd to the rest of your report.

My wife and I will be at the Paris Nov 5-8. It will be our first time staying there but love the central location. I'm also thinking of hitting a poker room for the first time, probably the Flamingo since I've read it's a good place for newbies...maybe I'll see you there!

    Cheers!

The STRAT , Excalibur, The Venetian, Monte Carlo, and downtown at The D.
Some are early in the morning...like 8:30-9am.

Gustav's Bar is a great place for VP and chatting it up with the bartenders. Good place to hang out, even if the pay tables are kinda crappy (which is why I chase the quads and kickers with Double Double Bonus!).

thanks so much with replys. I'm here and drunk so this might be short but I'm here for 5 days so I will get back. Been trying to check in since eleven this morning and finally got in at 4. Miscommunication because I have a common name but I think she took care of me. I'm on 4th floor and view does suck but I have a suite. I will try to send pictures and answer questions if can. Thanks

Gotta say as much whining and complaining I’ve done about the facility charge at Beer Park, it was pretty awesome. Then again, my supplier picked up the tab, I think I had a tall space dust IPA that was around $15 or so.

Loved MAG for dinner and although we didn’t have a table on the patio, we were able to see the fountains, it was awesome for breakfast or dinner. The Paris sports book leaves a lot to be desired, I think the bartender was a couple chromosomes short of a proper set. The sports book at Bally’s is so far back, it’s almost under the Monorail, so I would head over to Bellagio.

If you get to the Buffet in the morning, make sure you try the slab bacon, pork belly, or whatever it’s called. Good luck and looking forward to the updates.

Wait, what? He asked about poker lessons. The Strat, Monte Carlo and the D don't currently have poker rooms. They can't possibly have poker lessons can they?
