Stranger Things Season 2 is here! Watched the first episode last night. It was pretty good!

Just saw this in the News...

LOS ANGELES — A law enforcement official says "Stranger Things" actor Charlie Heaton was denied entry into the U.S. last week after trace amounts of cocaine were found in his luggage when he arrived in Los Angeles.

The official said Friday that a customs canine sniffed Heaton's luggage when he arrived at Los Angeles International Airport last Saturday and officers found a small amount of cocaine.

The official said Heaton, a British citizen, was refused entry into the U.S. at the airport and returned to London. He wasn't arrested and no charges were filed.

The official couldn't discuss the matter publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

Heaton stars as Jonathan Byers in the Netflix supernatural drama. His publicist didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Friday night.

Started watching Mindhunter too. I love Investigative Crime drama. I can’t stand too watch political shows or medical drama shows - at all. I loved Scrubs but have never watched one episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Can’t wait for Netflix to release the last season of Longmire.

River. A beautifully flawed character. Total of 6 episodes.

I started watching Mindhunter but it didn't seem to go anywhere so I've stopped watching for now.
Longmire final season - Nov 17th!

You star in your own medical drama every day.

True -- which is why I like watching comedies about the medical profession. Have to laugh or I will cry. Absolutely loved John McGinley's Dr. Cox - he made the show on Scrubs.

On Mindhuters you have to get past the first 3 or 4 episodes. My husband griped about it at first too - but now he is hooked. I know who the guy is they show at the beginning of each episode. My husband didn't know until I told him. The show is creepy but it slowly draws you in.

The problem with The Killing is that S1 and S2 are like one big season of red herrings. Atmosphere is great and all but the payoff takes too long.

S3 is very good and I haven't watched the Netflix wrap up S4.

I've watched a few horror movies the last couple days on Netflix.

The Eyes of My Mother. Slow, dark and a little weird. Also in black and white.
Gerald's Game. A Stephen King book turned movie. I liked the book very much but it didn't translate well to a movie, in my opinion.
1922. Also a Stephen King story. This was decent.

I watched the final season of Bloodline. I really liked the series.

I still have Ozark and the second season of Stranger Things to watch.

Finished Mindhunters last night. It is interesting to see how this whole profiling serial killers started in the 70s & how lucky we are that a few investigators cared enough to fight the bureaucracy. I know a lot goes to dramatic license.

Now we are going to start The Librarians on HULU.

It's like all of a sudden the new craze is to turn Steven King books into movies. Watched Gerald's Game and Cell the other night. OK, i guess since I never read either books. Read "It" but haven't seen the movie. That will probably also wait for Netflix.

Not a new craze at all Joe and can understand if you have not read his books..Too many to type but I'll list some books from wiki and you have probably seen the films made from a lot of them.. I'd say the Shining is most notable I'm sure you have seen.

Introducing new characters. Will probably take a few episodes for the story to shape up. You should watch the second half. All I can say.

    Try 'Magic City'.

Think the Sopranos go to Miami and become Jews on the eve of Castro overthrowing Batista. Only 2 seasons, but excellent, with sex, drugs, rock & roll, casinos & violence!

And I knew I've seen the central character before- Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan in the Walking Dead.

We're through Episode 8 of Stranger Things, Season 2. Maybe not quite as good as Season 1, but the story arc is rallying at the end, so I'm looking forward to the conclusion. It's a great show and very illustrative of why regular broadcast TV is losing viewers-Stranger Things is original, brisk, creatively written and spot on accurate for the period of the 80s in the Midwest. The kid actors are terrific. Network TV will not take these risks, preferring instead to rehash all things NCIS and Marvel Comics. Sigh.

I like all seasons of Narcos. Mindhunters started so slowly after three episodes I stopped watching it. Looking forward to the final season of Longmire on November 17.
