MM3...my life as a rock star

What a great trip!! It was so good to see everyone again and just as great meeting some new friends. I still believe that you can never have to many friends. Not to many photos this trip, but with the help of Mikey and Cyndi I have a few to share. So many people, so little time. Wish I could have spent more time with everyone, this is such a great group.

Flight:
For those of you wondering about Allegiant Air, I flew Allegiant out of Peoria, this was probably my 6th round trip to Vegas on Allegiant and I have never had a problem.

Hotel:
Imperial Palace penthouse suite. Hubby and I had been there in January and our play had given me a great casino rate. I'll have to say I wasn't expecting much, and I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. I had a 1 bedroom suite that included a nice size wet bar complete with fridge, a huge balcony, with no view and the biggest jacuzzi I have seen in a hotel.

Wednesday:
Met up with my buddy Hurricane Mikey at the airport and we headed off to the local liquor store to stock up. Went to Metro Pizza, my first time there, I thought it was quite good. Back to the airport to pick up my island sister Cyndi...it was a great reunion and then it was off to check in. The 3 of us met up later for dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. The food was excellent and we ended dinner with a few Espresso martinis. It's nice to have friends with an expense account. Thanks again, Cyndi, for the dinner. Then it was off downtown to meet up with others at the Keno bar. Along the way we stopped and picked up my fun girlfriend, Sin, at the Mirage. The hugs and reunions were continuing. At the Keno bar it was great to see some familiar faces, special birthday girl Coaster Kikky and my Vegas girl, VegasDrea. Also met some new faces, Don D. and his sweet wife Jennifer ...I love that woman and Don ain't to bad either, Keno and his wife Emily, what a super great couple, my new girlfriend, Pattiinontario and my fellow Illinoisans I'd been wanting to meet, Chef and ILMarty along with his friend Derek.

From there it was up to Cyndis suite at the Plaza for more drinks and fun. Nice room! Before long my good buddy, Vegas Jer showed up and the partying continued. Later on we headed to the Las Vegas club for a little gambling. The tables were cold so I decided to head back to the strip via Chefs taxi (thanks Chef) and go find that hot guy, Blackjack, I couldn't wait to see him! We played some more tables, but once again the cards just weren't there so I called it a night...or should I say a morning.

Thursday:
Had a 2 pm appointment at the IP spa for a chocolate body scrub. This was my first visit to the IP spa and I must say that once again I was pleasantly surprised. I got there a little late to take advantage of all the facility, but would go back again in a heartbeat.

Later Jer and that oh so fun, Vegas Tonya showed up. Then came Sin. After a quick phone call to beg Becky to pick us up in the limo we were off to Mix. The limo ride was great and there were more familiar faces, the guy with the biggest smile, LV Terry, that all around great guy Doc Al, and my all-time favorite sailor, Sanonofresurfer. Mix was nice, a little to mellow for me, but if you haven't been it's a must just to check out the bathrooms. What a great view!! And the view of the Strip is pretty nice too. Eventually my sweetie, RamBill arrived. Yes, girls, he did buy me diamonds and a porsche. It was early to bed for me that night, so I missed out on the evenings activities.

Friday:
Vegas Jer showed up with another new face, StickyFingers007, she's super cool and if you haven't checked out her web site you need to. Totally impressed, girl!! Mikey showed up with more supplies for happy hour so once we got everything iced down and properly in place we were off downtown to meet some of his Phoenix friends for lunch at MSS Triple 7 Brewpub. Once I finished I decided to head back to my room to prep for the party but just before hopping into the cab I got a phone call from Blackjack insisting that I join him and his friends at Hogs & Heifers. So...off I went. What a cool place!! For those that aren’t familiar, the New York City-based bar was the original inspiration for the film "Coyote Ugly" and the subsequent chain of bars/clubs, like the one in Vegas. After a few drinks with the guys and a dance on the bar with the bartender, I was off. I opted not to add my bra to the collection on the wall. Later that night was happy hour at my suite. What a great time!! I finally got to meet PrincePaul after talking to him on the phone at a few other events...he’s so cute!! I had my first and last shot of Patron. Guess you have to like tequila to appreciate it, but since Terry brought those cool MM III shot glasses, I figured I'd give it a try...like I said, my first and last. During the party, my 2 room mates had arrived, Chicago Cyn and a Girl Named George. We partied until we just couldn't any longer. I think my head finally hit the pillow at 9 am.

Saturday:
Needless to say, I overslept and missed the entire poker tournament. Sounds like everyone had a great time and it was the social event of the madness. Later that evening VegasDrea, Chicago Cyn, a Girl Named George and I decided to get some drinks from Tequila Joes out in front of IP and walk the strip. Of course I opted for the super size. I think Bazootch described it best as a coleman cooler hanging from my neck. Later on I headed downtown to meet up with the gang and I finally got to meet Bazootch. Dude, how old are you?? Really, he's a great guy. Played a little "Fun 21" and then Al and I were off to the Strip to find my girlfriends. We ended up at one of the bars in Paris for quite a while having drinks. I'm not sure what's funnier, Marty wearing that bathrobe all over town or one of my girlfriends break dancing on a piece of cardboard in the Paris lounge!!!

Sunday:
Sterling Brunch....I always wanted to try it. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but for $65 I don't think I'll be back. I did learn that even on a full stomach, champagne can go to your head just as quickly as it does on an empty stomach. The days events included another trip downtown with the gang, hanging with Sin, Sticky and Patti a little more before they left, another trip to Hogs & Heifers, heading out to see Mikey at Sunset Station and then back to IP for a little more gambling. Oh, and I think somewhere in there I left a Sterling Brunch doggy bag in Al's room. Thanks for being such a good sport, Al.

Monday:
Time to head home...but not before one more trip to Metro Pizza with Mikey. Got to meet up with Blackjack for a bit at the airport. I'm not sure who looked worse, him or me, but it was great to see him again so we had a few more laughs before we hugged and parted ways to head home.


It was so great seeing everyone!! I hope I didn’t leave anyone out. VegasBound, I can’t believe I missed you again...hopefully next time, girl!!!

Thanks for the party and everything else. I had a great time with u your last night. The people at the LVC r still asking me what I was doing holding hands and walking around with another blonde. Just told them I found me a girl & it was one of those what happens stories...........lol

 

Ahem.... I believe I was looking a bit worse. You still look good on a bad day baby :wink . I am so completely bummed that we spent so little time together. I guess it just means that we'll have to make up for it next time.

Of any of the T2Vers I met, you were the one that came most ready to have fun. From the opening minute of the festivities on Wednesday, you were the consummate partier. Immensely enjoyed your enthusiam and friendliness.

 

Am I the only one amazed there are no reports of anyone being kicked out of any place??? You guys sure partied it up like ROCK STARS!! Way to go!!
