The Founder is now on Netflix, the story of Ray Kroc and how he built McDonalds.

I got a little bored with Narcos, kind of slow moving. I think some of these series' put the brakes on so they get renewed for another season. Better Call Saul comes to mind, the writers and producers could milk this for a couple years.

Season 1 was so bad (on AMC) that I refused to spend one more minute watching it. Too many other things on TV. After a few episodes, I was hate-watching it; figuring that at some point we'd find out who killed Rosie. Two months later, I still didn't know. My wife stuck with it through Season 2, while I made sure I was busy while she watched it.

Just got Netflix a few weeks ago when we "cut the cord" (we subscribe to PlayStation Vue, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Now).

Since we started Netflix, I've watched all of One Day at a Time (highly recommended) and GLOW (pretty good). I am also concurrently catching up with Kimmy Schmidt (a fun show that I can drop in and out of at any time) and BoJack Horseman (which is surprisingly deep for an animated series... anyone with - or lives with someone with -depression can relate, yet because it is animated it is fun, too).

I've also downloaded the CNN app, and though I don't like them as a news outlet, I am catching up on some of their recent documentaries, including The Nineties and The History of Comedy.

Joe, I watched ep. 2 yesterday. Partway through it I was certain that the show is intended to be a horror anthology, but at the finish of ep. 2 I dismissed that theory. While ep. 2 delivered an unexpected twist, overall the story was not particularly satisfying given what I witnessed in ep. 1. I'm also left to wonder if there's supposed to be any explanation for what I saw in ep. 1, or if I'm left to decide for myself what happened. If so, that's pretty weak.

Got hacked on Netflix the other day. Got an email saying my email address and password changed. Called them and they shut my account off. Need to rejoin. None of my other accounts were hacked(so far) and I paid thru paypal monthly automatic. Weird, why anyone would hack Netflix for a $7.95 monthly fee. Unless there is more coming. Will wait til next month to rejoin Still have Amazon to catch up on.

I watched it on my iPad on my flight to Vegas in May. I liked it. Michael Keaton did an excellent job.

How now watched ep. 3. I didn't quite get it, but I was sorta tuned out during it. I read some online discussions of the episode. Some people hated it, thought it was terrible writing. Others thought that you had to analyze the "pieces" you were given to reach the logical conclusion of what the hell happened. That still doesn't explain the point of ep. 1. I would not recommend this show, yet I'll probably watch it for a while since the eps are less than 30 minutes and I'm kinda, sorta watching it as a guest of my buddy, and not paying for access to the channel.

If you like stories about a dystopian future, I highly recommend 3% which is a Brazilian production (you can choose dubbed audio or subtitles). The premise is that every year a group of 20 year olds from a metropolitan slum take a series of tests ("The Process") and the 3% of them that pass will be accepted to "The Offshore" which is a paradise. And no, it's not the Hunger Games in Portuguese.

The first season is eight episodes long (about 40-45 minutes each) and it has been renewed for a second season.

I don't know if there is enough room to list everything so I'll just list a few. Right now I am watching Ozark; Orange Is The New Black and Wentworth.

I watched season one of Mindhunter. The dialogue can be a little stiff but it was entertaining. I'll watch season two when it comes out.

I'm watching Ozark. Pretty good so far.

Started Mindhunter last night. The cinemaphotography is pretty special. Like Ozark, I also appreciated that they wasted no time to get to the thick of it in the first few minutes.
