Here ya go.... I'll expect a drink for payment. :)

    Ingredients
    • 2 eggs
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
    • 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    Sauce
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
    • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    Instructions
    1. Combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, sage, and mushrooms in a large bowl. Crumble ground beef over mixture and stir well to combine. Shape into a round loaf; place in a 5-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F (71 degrees C), 5 to 6 hours.
    2. Whisk ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl; spoon sauce over meat loaf. Return to slow cooker and cook on Low until heated through, about 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

Thanks Fullboat; it will soon be thermal underwear time here in Canada....meatloaf is great cold weather comfort food and we like the meatloaf sandwiches the day after! I am going to give your recipe a try. Thank you! Hope I can get you that drink in Vegas!

    Thanks breanna and deansrobinson!
I love cabbage rolls, where I grew up they were also called 'HALUPKI'S'.
And slicemasters.com looks like my kind of pizza place.

Except when you live in the country and there isn't anyone who delivers. Anything!

That's why we keep the freezer so well stocked ;-)

Bone-in chicken chunks pan seared with sweet Italian sausages. That then went into a roasting pan with white potatoes while I made a pan sauce with red wine vinegar, white wine, chicken stock, gobs of garlic and parsley. Artichokes on the side. We'll be doing that one again. We have two extra breasts so we'll put prosciutto and goat cheese under the skin and roast them tonight. Greek salad.

My 17 yr old son text me the other night telling me I "had to make" taco stuffed shells. My immediate reply was all taco shells are stuffed, technically.

Anyway, tonight I actually made taco stuffed shells. In addition to the traditional taco meat/ seasoning, add salsa, cream cheese, and corn while browning. Boil pasta shells then stuff each one. Place in a pan with a thin layer of salsa on the bottom then add salsa on top. Bake 20 min, then top with cheese. Bake 10 more mins.

I had my mom and stepfather come to dinner, these things were a hit!

    Bon appetit.

    My mom...rest her soul...was an award-losing cook.
She tried...but every night was a guessing game in what horrors we might have to pretend to eat.

Somehow, she made a good American Chop Suey, though.

    Thanks Ardee !
I gave myself 1 day to lounge....
It's going to be 70+ degrees for the rest of the week, so I refuse to be sick!
Upcoming Vegas trip is helping my state of mind too.
