I love reading about how you do Vegas. Incredible. I'm so far off from your lifestyle it's like night and day. My experience would be incredibly dull to others, and yet, I love it, too. Please post how your next trip goes. 9/6 DDB has to have a good hit at some point.

Also, as far as I could tell no one ever came in to service my room that afternoon. Not only was it right after I checked in, until someone stole it I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign up. Conspiracy theory begins. I didn't see cameras in my hallway either, which I found strange. Must have not looked closely enough.

Plot twist: albino pigeon seen with 9 pre-rolled joints following you back to the pharmacy for more of it, and all you wanted to do was take pictures of him

Excellent TR, loved following along! Really enjoyed the attention to detail in the food & drink descriptors. :)

Sad you didn't get to pet the puppy at the airport ("Do NOT pet!") - but I guess everyone has a job to do in Vegas.

Have a great trip in Boston, can't wait for your next TR!

Yes, it is a trip report to reread and look at photos again. I keep thinking, why the balcony and not the safe deposit box in the room? Or your locked carry on? Or even under the mattress? Winds can be vile in Vegas.

The whole bag had a slight smell of marijuana mainly because the partially smoked joint (in retrospect this was an omen of lost goods), so the point of the balcony was to keep the room from getting skunked. When I first arrived to the room and took photographs, I couldn't find the safe anywhere. There are about 6 cabinets/8 drawers in the kitchen, drawers in the bathroom by the kitchen that I never even opened the door to, seemingly random doors in the entry hall, a desk and table with drawers in the living room, two side tables with drawers in the bedroom, and finally a set of doors in the master bathroom I overlooked! Behind those double-doors I eventually found the safe with padded clothes hangers, some shelf space, a folding luggage rack, a couple of nice robes, and an in-your-face Andy Warhol-esque backdrop. Only one other person came in my room the whole time and at that point I had already discovered the safe. If I hadn't been itching to immerse myself in what lay below, I would have called the front desk to guide me to the safe's location.

On a lighter note, during my hunt for the safe I found a blue pair of mens shorts and a green t-shirt in the corner of the closet with the hook-ups for a washer and dryer. An enclave the housekeeping staff might not always take a close look at, though in their defense it was in the far corner of the closet. The best part was the clothes had obviously been worn, but dangling from one of the backside buttons was a $19.99 Marshall's tag. An attempt to check the contents of the pockets was unsuccessful because even after I was able to get some latex gloves from Walgreens, I was afraid I could be met with a needle that could puncture the gloves and leave me infected. Instead, I left the gift for the next curious person to ponder. For all I knew the clothes had been there for weeks. It is a bit disappointing to not know if some chip porn was hiding in the depths of the almost certain filth.

I am exhausted but delighted just from reading this! I always appreciate when I pick up new ideas from these TRs. My trip next week will probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of my 25th and I always try to mix in some new experiences with my faves, I already have Dinos on my list of new experiences to try and hearing you talk about it seals the deal! Look forward to your next adventure :)

Entertaining TR! I enjoyed your style of writing....you wrote a very detailed summary of what you experienced which is amazing to most of us , then followed with lots of Pictures what we just read...most high rollers are boring, just non-stop feeding of the machines 24/7, you my friend know how to do vegas right with plenty of different kinds of having fun. Looking forward to your next TR and if you can top that?!!

What a fun read! Cosmo is a great hotel. The staff is great, and I was there about 2 weeks ago and enjoyed my stay. For VP players they have good paytables for dollar and above levels. Their comps are decent and you don't need to gamble to get identity points, just spend at the hotel or restaurants and you can rack up some points! Thanks again, great write up!!!!

Tremendous report! Love the dialogue and all of the pictures. I actually stumbled across this from your newer TR...but after reading through the first paragraph and realizing what I was getting into, I just had to jump back to this one first!

Now on to your next TR...
