Thanks. I was thinking of taking my own vape pen (the battery part) and just buying the cartridge when I am in town.

We tried The Grove, Releaf and The Apothecary Shoppe.
The Grove has a large selection of variety specific concentrates but not the disposable vape
pens we wanted. Big line at 11:30am Sunday morning.

Vegas Releaf had the vape pens we wanted and some kickass indica gummys , 10 for $30.
I would take 2 or 3 gummys before bed and slept like a baby, best ever in Vegas. I also bought a sourtangie
vape cartridge and it was very powerful stuff. Right in and out 12:00 pm Sunday morning.

I took my wife to the Palms to gamble and thought I'd checkout the Apothecary Shoppe to reload on gummys.
It's right across the street from the west end of the Palm's casino. The place is nice and had me right in and out
but I didn't like the gummys as much.

I love the legal rec dispensaries in Vegas. Adds another dimension of fun for me.

So I have a battery for my ecigarette that a tank threads into. I could buy a cartridge or tank that would screw into it?

I'm interested in gummies to help me sleep. I don't smoke, gave up tobacco in 1991. Have used some CBD oils that are legal in the UK to try to help my sleeping. They add an hour or so to my normal sleep, bringing it up to a whole 5 hours. This was concentrated non indica oil in a syringe. I took about half an inch of the product each evening, and after a few days it did help. It was extremely expensive, so I didn't continue with it.

I'm constantly tired, if gummies would help me get a good nights sleep, I'm all for trying it. Releaf's gummies at 10 for $30 sound good. As mentioned by HS7 earlier.

I smoked a bit of blow in my youth. It made me giggle, eat and then throw up. I do not want to repeat that experience.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

A heavy indica gummy might work for sleep. The advice I'd give for anyone who is not sure what they want is to go into a reputable shop and talk to the budtender. At almost every shop I've been in, they have been knowledgeable about their products and if you say that you are looking for a light high, first timer party treat, heavy sleep inducer, etc, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I would definitely start with 1 gummy. My wife who never smokes or takes edibles took 1 indica gummy
a night this past trip and had no problems. I thought 2 was just about right and 3 quite a strong dose.

Question about ID...Do they look at your ID to make sure you are of age, or do they make a copy, or input your information in a computer? Concerned about junk mail back home. Thanks in advance..

It's been exactly a month. I've received no junk mail whatsoever.

I'm curious about this too. Do they take down your info in NV? Or just check to be sure you're of age? The place I go to here locally in WA just looks at your ID, and only enters your phone number if you want to be in their "rewards club" at purchase.

I know some people have mentioned being concerned about getting put on a list. Plus it seems like that would be time consuming with the volume of people through there.

We were in Vegas in July, right after recreational sales started. We went to Essence Cannabis Dispensary. The guard at the door checked our ID's to make sure we were of age. The lady at the front desk did enter our information into the computer, which we didn't have a problem with.

It was a pretty standard experience. We are from North Carolina (and I'm pretty sure weed will NEVER be legal here...or maybe it will be in like 80 years), but we have visited the dispensaries in Colorado many times.

As for the junk mail question, we have not received anything in the mail. I have gotten a few emails here and there, but she asked me if I wanted to be added to their email list, and I said yes.

We went to Reef and Essence, both were good, checked ID's and such, no junk email either. Essence entered our info in a computer but I don't remember what they did at Reef.

So is there a clear cut best dispensary in Vegas, or do they each have their own pluses and minuses?

go to www.leafly.com and check the reviews and you can also see prices. I'll go to the Apothecary Shoppe... mainly for convenience as I'll be at the GC.
