I'm craving roasted chicken a la Seattle's Le Pichet and herb spaetzle, maybe get some beets and arugula from the farmers' market for a salad. Came back from the northlands with some Oregon Pinots. That just might be the ticket.

    You???

Homemade tacos (my wife's specialty and she's Italian) and a Gatorade (that's for me... not sure what the others are drinkin'?)

Based on national tragic events and another hellish week at work, I've been thinking 2 Vicodins and a bottle of champagne would hit the spot !

Tonight we are doing turkey drumsticks braised in Italian salad dressing with stuffing and corn on the cob.

I haven't had corn on the cob at all the last 2 years, but this summer for some reason I can't seem to get enough of it... maybe just a good year for corn?

LOL! No, it doesn't contain actual heroin. It's an old low-carb recipe going back to the early Atkins days. Bunch of spices (garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, etc) mixed with parmesan cheese, and then shake and bake.

Well, since the food truck isn't showing up at the local brewery, I'm thinking a Quarter pounder with cheese along with a large order of McDonalds Fries. It eats fine after three or four IPAs.

The chef, me, served panko pan fried fluke with garlic, heavy on the garlic, mashed red potatoes and crispy garlic sauteed green beans. An inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon was also served.

    This is Friday.
The answer, as is always the case, is pizza.

Turkey, Wild Turkey Rare Breed. Accompanied by a lovely pub mix from a 5 gallon container.

My girlfriend, with the help of her son, made me a peanut butter pie for my birthday yesterday. The son, 9 years old, helped out by putting some chocolate chips in the pie before cooking. If you've never had a peanut butter pie they are delish.......much, much better than one would think, IMHO.
