Just of harrahs pool. I was hoping not having a strip or Linq pool view would minimise the noise! Will take photos later :). Just hitting up In N Out on the Linq prom! I'm pretty drunk and its only 3pm...ohshit.

The food will help absorb the alcohol. :)
Have a couple of bottles of water between drinks and
    you'll be fine.
I'm one of those who really enjoys day-drinking in Las Vegas.

The picture of in and out made my day. I always go there because they are nowhere to be found in the midwest! I cant wait to have one in 14 days!

Loving your trip report and the fact copious day drinking is not frowned on here!

Thanks guys!! I did indeed move to the water, and then swiftly back to the cocktails. I love the center 3535 bar in the linq! Spent most the night there with a good few hundred here for the same convention as me which starts later today.

I tried the tag bar that many mention as a fave place but thought it was kinda average. Plastic cups for cocktails and slow service. Ah well maybe just bad luck?

Speaking of bad luck I did not come away with anything yesterday and quickly went through my daily bankroll. I did get a 4oak but cycled through that pretty quick too. On the plus side I musta had about 10 cocktails for free so not a total loss!

    20171005_193130.jpg

They put on a DJ about 9ish and Oh.My.God. the tunes he played were outstanding! Proper mix of 80's 90s and newer stuff that had me moving each and everytime!

All in all I'm really enjoying the Linq! Location, layout, cocktails, suite room plus epic tunes! All I need is my luck to come back now!

Seems like that would be harder to see than the machines at Chandelier at Cosmo. I can't imagine how bad the screen-glare would be.

Yes I'm with you Ms Blonde The Linq is a great place to Vegas! Being a sports bettor it's easy to score drink tickets compared to almost every other book on the strip. Plus the overall vibe is right up my alley, party atmosphere but not over the top and you have four-five casinos within 10 minute walk.

Sorry about the late update, I was Drunky McDrunkface last night.

Had a great day for the first day of our convention! Started with a few drinks at 3535 again then convention till 5pm.

We grabbed dinner at Virgils BBQ. It was gooooood.
    20171006_172400.jpg

Then wandered back to the party which started s a freebar at the linq pool at 6pm. Passed a slot that looked lucky. It was not, had one win but ended up -100.

Pool party was fun, met some interesting people and then we were all given a number and whisked away in groups to the High Roller! It was fab! The night veiw was outstanding and we saw the fountains at Bellagio go off just at the right time.

Then we walked back to Virgils as we had the patio hired for everyone and another free bar. Such a great spot overlooking the prom for people watching and great rock n roll music all night till about 12pm. This is where Drunky Mcdrunkface happened.

Annnnd you would think that was enough drinking right?

    20171006_235406.jpg

Well obviously not. And I continued playing VP for another hour or 2. Had a small hit and didnt loose too much plus had free drinks....not that I needed them!

Wish they were $5+hands but drunk me was obviously responsibly gaming

TAG Bar is only a must if you love craft beer. Otherwise the drinks are not out of the ordinary. Service varies on how busy they are.

Also the paytables are slightly better at TAG than other CET bars. Bonus Poker remember? ;)

Yeah I would think it would be bad. Chandelier is bad enough. Also they would prefer the machines not get wet. I think one of the bars at Four Queens downtown gives an open air view of the Fremont experience. And the Margaritaville bar can give you a view of the strip, but both of these are still located indoors.

If you were gonna try something else, I'd suggest Double Double Bonus. Few major changes though.

Full houses with three Aces are broken.
Two pair with Aces are broken.

    More minor changes
Ace only is better than two off suit high cards.

Inside straight is better than nothing (e.g. 4578)

Inside straight with 2 high cards is better than 2 offsuit high cards (QJ98 > QJ offsuit).

These are the most important differences.

Maybe we need to hear her drunk and on a rant! ;)

My OH and I were born about 5 miles apart. A lot of the American friends we meet in LV can't understand him easily, but can understand me perfectly well. We have similar accents to my ear, but I know the dialect better.
