Hey there. We will be in Vegas on the 8th. There is 5 of us. looking to sit and bet some games and horses. Maybe 20 bucks per game and few bucks on ponies. Which place on the strip of close to would be newbie friendly and not 12 bucks for a mixed drink or beer.

Go download the sports betting apps and load cash in advance (i.e. BEFORE SUNDAY) instead of waiting in line forever on Sunday to make $20 per game bets.

Off strip is going to have lots of deals than anywhere actually on the Strip.

What sort of environment do you want? The Westgate theatre is a pretty decent deal. $15 buckets of beers in the theatre for NFL day. No cover.

You should be able to accumulate drink tickets playing the ponies, however the last two times I was there on NFL Sunday it was difficult to play the ponies due to crowd size and the reduced size of the racebooks (at least Mirage).

I like the idea from Rumor on Westgate, should be able to do both.

The Linq is generous with drink tickets if tipping $10 or maybe $25 for a group of five. Considering beers are $8 it's at least worth a try
