My Dorito salad starts with a handful of Doritos in a microwave-safe bowl.
Then add pickle slices, usually dill. Sometimes bread-and-butter flavor if I'm in the mood. Both if I'm really feeling frisky!
Add a topping of shredded cheddar cheese.
Optional: Add a squirt of Sweet Baby Ray's--or use a leftover barbecue sauce packet from McD's/KFC/etc.

Microwave for 25 seconds and enjoy! :feedme:

I don't think I'll be on Beat Bobby Flay anytime soon...

Peanut butter, sliced banana and boysenberry syrup on French toast. I somehow came up with this when I was about six years old and do it to this day, albeit only once or twice a year. :feedme::feedme::feedme:

I'm sitting here going through the cobwebs of my mind and I can't really come up with something like herring and durian fruit on polenta. Now enchiladas for breakfast are righteous, and really, not at all unusual. And playing golf in the islands, you gotta start the round with spam musubi.

I drink Barley water (tea). I brew it and keep a pitcher in the fridge. Something I picked up from Koreatown LA.

I've had peanut butter & yellow mustard many years ago. My aunt talked liked and talked me into it, honestly it wasn't bad. I stopped because it's too weird.

I actually enjoy Triscuits dipped in canned chocolate frosting occasionally. :) Yeah, I know it sounds strange, but it's yummy! :)

    1) Pickled Pork Lips

    2) Buttermilk poured over broken cornbread

    3) Wild Greens with cornmeal dumplings in them (these greens/weeds grew on the edge of cotton fields in the south before the heavy duty pesticides killed them. They are not poke salad. Have a very strong taste but good. Have not had them in over 30 years)

Salt and chocolate are a natural. You just found a way not to spend $5 for each piece of confectionary delight.

I used to put doritos on all sandwiches. But that's not weird. In high school. ate a combo of peanut butter, raisins, honey & rice krispies. Or peanut butter in chocolate pudding (institutional chocolate pudding - I loved that stuff!) I don't like potatoes - growing up I'd only eat them raw, or "fake" mashed potatoes. I eat a lot of things my sister thinks are weird, but she's a "meat & potatoes" only sort of midwesterner (her words!) I, on the other hand, travel to eat, so....I'll try anything once!

Some people think this is weird, but I love it: Peanut butter (only the "good stuff") and sliced homegrown Cherokee Purple tomatoes on fresh whole wheat sourdough bread...

BBQ pig snouts . Can get them crunchy or soft. Younger folks like the crunchy, older folks the soft.
Usually can only get them for special occasions like the super bowl or ncaa playoffs.
