Well Blondies stops the $3.99 special at 9:00 am. So we are finishing up at La Salsa Cantina right across the hallway from Blondies. Breakfast deal until 12:00pm here. $4.99 for two eggs, sausage or bacon, grilled potatoes and flour or corn tortillas. Nothing fancy. Just a good breakfast deal.

We are headed over to Bellagio to play VP and maybe BlackJack.

After breakfast we played some DDB BP. I hit quad Kings for $250. Seemed like the good luck was continuing. Not so fast my fair weather gambling friend.

We went to Bellagio around 11:00am and played for several hours. I played $1 DDB VP mostly. I did play at the $5 level for one session with no significant hands. I just drained Benjamins from my wallet into the machines. The pic below is of the 4 Kings and the only good hand I had all day.

We continued our Wolfgang Puck tour. About 2:00pm we had lunch at Spago in the Forum Shoppes. It was great. I'll post pics tomorrow. We saw the Circus 1906 show at Paris this evening. It was entertaining and worth the TravelZoo deal I purchased. After the show we went to MGM for a meal at Wolfgang Puck's Bar and Grill. It too was a great meal. Pics tomorrow.

Ready for bed. Licking my wounds from the beat down the Video Poker gods put on me today. Tomorrow's our last full day. So off to bed I go at 12:15am.

It is 6:45am here in Sin City on Wednesday, August 31, 2017. I'm sitting at the spa drinking a cup of coffee. Watching Squak on the Street. Kramer is squawking and I'm crying in my coffee. After the 4OAK early yesterday I didn't get anything. 3OAK was a thing to celebrate yesterday. We did have two good meals.

1st up was Spago in the Forum Shopes at Ceasars.
The Price Fix Lunch menu looked good to us. You can read the menu for the price fix below. Also here are pics if my chopped salad appetizer and her Maryland Crab Cake app. Both were wonderful.

Her main course was a terrific Skirt Steak served
with a truly fantastic Asian tasting coleslaw. I had Linguine and Prawns in a spicy red sauce. Very good. For dessert we chose the Chocalate Vanilla Sundae.

We had a $25 off MyVegas reward. 2 down two to go for our 2017 Vegas Wolfgang Puck Tour. Next up is his Bar and Grill at MGM.

Yesterday (Wed) we decided to stave off bankruptcy by leaving the casino and to take a nap. Then I went back down to the spa for a soak in the whirlpool. We dressed for the evening and made our way to the theater for a 7:00pm performance of Circus 1903. Good show. Good price through Travelzoo.

After the show we went to MGM for the 3rd leg of the Wolfgang tour. We were not starving. Just a little hungry. No apps. No salads. No desserts. She had the Sea Bass $36. I had the Prime Hangar steak $40. Both were great. We had a MyVegas for a BOGO entree. Some pics. One promoting the big fight in September.

This is our last full day. Gonna have some fun. Lunch at Cucina and Menapuse The Musical at Harrah's this evening.

'Bout ready to head back to the room from the spa. Random pics. The ladies at the entrance to Ceasars. Spago. Bellagio Conservatory and a sign for a club down at WynnCore. It reveals something about my emotional relationship with gambling today. First day gambling was awesome. Second day gambling not so much. Third day of gambling now underway. Pray for the restoration of a bankroll.

Great report. You do Vegas very well! I was at the circus show on Tuesday, AUG 29 at Paris. Is this the show you attended? If yes, you'll know what I'm describing. I really enjoyed all the acts---very well done. BUT, I didn't like the circus host's interaction with the children. He kept pulling the young boys---horse collaring them. I thought the 4 year girl crying was cringe worthy. I realize working with young children can be shaky. Someone like Mac King(his show is at Harrahs) has a natural rapport with kids. I spoke with others in attendance---they felt the same way. The performances were fun.

fabriano - yes, the Circus 1903 show at Paris. And, yes the master of ceremonies was very funny and entertaining. I too was bothered by his interaction with a couple of the kids. The horse collar on a kid in a T-shirt seemed abit much. I agre the show would have been better without that behavior.

We had breakfast at the Aria Buffet. Used points from our MLife account to pay for the meal. Following our meal we found a DDB VP machine which looked lucky to me. It was a $5 machine. I put 5 Benjamins in and started to play. Played sixty hands in 3 twenty hand mini sessions. After the 60th hand I was up $400. Cashed out. The redemption machine gave me 9 freshly printed Benjamins. I was happy. We found another machine and played at $1. During that session I hit 4 Aces for $800. Kept playing having a good run of hands. Then cashed out and redeemed a ticket for $1,100. The carnage of yesterday is a distant memory now. We left Aria and retrieved the car from Paris valet. Headed to Wynn.

My wife had seen a lamp which is more a piece of art than functional lighting. It cost $1,200. The store is on the Esplanade at Wynn I told her this morning if either one of us had a good session and won more than $1,300 we'd go buy the lamp. So, that is what we did. She is happy. We sat down at a VP machine and a little later I hit 4 3's for $400. I am way happy. Gave Wynn back one Benjamin after a long session. Ran a lot of hands through in that session.

Oh, BTW We have always been Saphire level with MLife. Last night we achieved Pearl with status. Yippe! The pics are of some art at Aria and of the two sweet wins this am.

Menapuse the Musical is on the agenda this evening following an early dinner at Cucina in Crystals. Last
stop on our Wolfgang Puck tour. Then it will be a couple of hours of what else, DDB VP.

Good for you on going with your gut on what machine to play.
I do that more often than not and it's also been pretty decent to me, gvj.

Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of that lamp your wife liked, if you'd be willing to show us.

Wonderful to find things to look back on memories of good times.

Loving the Wolfgang Puck food. Great stuff!

I would also like to see a pic of the lamp - if you don't mind. Loved reading your report and so happy the gambling gods treated you better today.

I'm surprised you didn't eat at CUT as part of your Wolfgang Puck tour? Are they shipping the lamp home for you? It looks like a digestive system model I used in nursing school! Hahaha So glad to hear your gambling turned around!

Yesterday(Thurs) after a brief nap and a quick trip to the spa we made our way to Cucina at Crystals. Had a wonderful meal. The final stop on our Wolfgang Puck Vegas Tour. We shared a Shrimp Scampi appetizer. She had Eggplant Parmesan. She claimed it was the best ever. The eggplant was crispy under the sauce yet the flesh of the plant remained soft. She used the term exquisite to describe the sauce. I had the Chicken Picata w/ lemon caper sauce. With out any doubt my chicken piccata is the best meal I have experienced in an Italian restaurant.

Using the MyVegas rewards for each of the Wolfgangs on the strip made the cost for our tour reasonable. We may do it again someday if it remains in the MyVegas program.

From Cucina we hustled down to Harrah's. We needed to find the box office and exchange our TravelZoo vouchers for tickets. The folks at the door of the theater directed us to box office on the casino floor near the entrance to Flavors buffet. It was a circus of idiocy. We then heard that the box on the floor above the treater was open. The folks at the door told me it wasn't when I asked. We go upstairs and have tickets in less than 4 minutes. The show was hilarious. My wife and the other women laughed until tears ran down their cheeks. The men were all nodding their heads in a motion indicating they had experience wirh this clever portrayal of women dealing with Menapuse.

Following the show we went back to the Paris. We had packed most of our stuff before dinner. We
Hit the casino. On my third hand I received 4 7's for a $250 win. We played for another hour or so. I gave back 2 Benjamins I colored up for the last time this trip.

Pic is the final good hand of the trip. I'll make a final post after we get home. We are on the plane now waiting to push back from the gate.

Hoofy7 - cut was not available on MyVegas rewards. The trip, in terms of gambling, turned around nicely.

The pics are; the view of the strip from room 1525P at 6:40am as the sun comes up, the view from our table at Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast this morning at 7:20am, and the "special" we ate for breakfast which was a split English muffin with a poached egg over grilled tomato smothered in a little hollandaise sauce w/frites. We often share main course items items at restaurants. We did so this am. IMG_1321.JPG IMG_1322.JPG IMG_1323.JPG IMG_1324.JPG IMG_1325.JPG IMG_1327.JPG
