20170827_014138.jpg Talk in the crowd, shooting at Drais.

We were walking back to Paris from Caesars about 1:20 AM and the police started arriving in front of Cromwell.

They shut down the strip from Harmon by Planet Hollywood, N & S. We watched from the bridge from Bellagio to Ballys.

Video on Facebook shows about 25 police cars, says a shooting at Drais - latest report says no gun shot, just a fight and 'statues pushed over' was reported as gunshots

Update was in the Mirror newspaper feed in the UK, I just Googled gunshots at Drais nightclub and it came up in the news feed (after reports of a previous shooting in 2013)

Just read several tweets that stated Metro confirmed no shooting. People who were at Drais said the incident happened in Cromwell not the club.

Strange that the LVRJ site does not even mention it this morning, amongst things like a fire at Westgate, a dog bite, and the fight (prize fight) of course.

That's their SOP. It may make it in eventually because other news agencies have the story. But if the local press can avoid mentioning negative strip stories, they do it.

I woke up last night at Bellagio when all the sirens filled up the Strip. No shooting, just a fight, from what people are reporting locally this morning

High class boutique hotel and asking thug nation to party at Drai's why? Can someone explain the partnership? No logical explanation from my point of view.

Yeah, it feels like a weird fit for sure.... in my completely uneducated opinion, Drai's was there before the Cromwell and it makes a ton of money. Also, let's face it - all the popular clubs are at "high class" joints for the most part. Not my bag, but they print money.

SuzyQ, I have said the same thing about the mismatch of Drais and Cromwell.

I like the casino but will think twice about being there when the club is open.

The dealers we have talked with don't like that Drai's brings in that crowd. Which seems completely opposite of their hotel image.

Have seen and been to the other clubs i.e. Omnia, Hakssan ....Drai's crowd is much different than those upscale clubs.

Yup... just another tactic "the man" uses to keep us down. Those "in the know" are aware the Las Vegas criminal element is headquartered out of Drai's pool.

In fairness, in this case it seems like it really did turn out to be a non-story.
