We always get the breakfast buffet with the MyVegas buy one get one. I'm always happy with it. Omelet station is always good and I really like that you can get your own drinks.

I stopped doing dinner buffet, I find that food is mostly not very good, so I Would rather sit in a real restaurant and pay more than being unhappy after my meal. Breakfast is different, no-one can screw up breakfast.

I beg to differ. Golden Nugget screws up breakfast [emoji505] on a daily basis.

I got a MyVegas comp for a lunch buffet. Ended up showing up early between breakfast and lunch. Breakfast certainly was better than lunch and there were a lot of options. However, I wouldn't pay normal prices for this and would only go with a comp.

Recently stayed at the Mirage for 2 weeks and visited the buffet twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. We have been staying at the Mirage for the past 5 years and whilst we love the hotel / casino the "Cravings buffet" never appears to get any better , it seems so bland with not a great choice.
Due to my play I get the buffet comped and still dont really visit it when its free.
It is true there is unlimited beer and wine with the dinner buffet which is a very nice extra to have free beer with your dinner. I guess the choices (in my view) are limited and poor , there are just not the options as with other buffets.
Breakfast was ok though but then again how can you mess up a breakfast buffet. They had all you would want / need at breakfast time.

Treasure Island is next door to the Mirage and we found their breakfast and dinner buffet excellent. As an added bonus TIX4TONITE is straight across the street from the Mirage and we got a buffet pass for buy 1 get 1 free @ Treasure Island. The same was on offer for Harrahs which is also opposite the Mirage. We found Harrahs breakfast buffet excellent value.
I love the Mirage but not their buffet and I would give it 4/10.

I guess I'm not that much of a foodie, because I could eat at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner...add in the wine and beer and I'm one happy camper. ...... with that said, breakfast is my favorite meal there.

For quite a while there hasn't been a designated "breakfast"...it's either been "brunch" until 3:00, and then dinner.

    Has this changed?

I actually agree with you. For whatever reason you just cant seem to beat a Vegas buffet breakfast.

Also at Palazzo in Vegas. Other locations around the states, there is one in Austin, Tx that I know of and I think one in Houston.

Went to brunch this morning and it was good. Our "server" was attentive at cleaning our table. The egg station was good as was the ham and prime rib. Would do breakfast again on 2 for 1.
