I am thinking of taking the Bell Trans shuttle to Mandalay Bay from the airport. Does anyone know it that would be one of the first drop offs. Thanks.

There is never a guarantee that they will drop off at any hotel first. Due to MB's location, they could also drop off at M Resort or South Point then back to the Strip or it could be among the last to drop off since it's so close to the airport.

Not to mention, they typically wait until they have a full shuttle before departing, which I've had to sit and wait for 20-30 minutes before they had a full load.

If the shuttle takes Tropicana Ave. to the Strip, the shuttle could potentially stop at all or some of the following; MGM, The TROP,NYNY, EXCAL and Luxor, before it gets to MB.

I have also found that sometimes the shuttles go from terminal 1 to terminal 3 for pick-ups. I am liking Lyft more and more.

Are you solo? No expert but I'm guessing Uber would be about the same cost. For 2 or more, a cab should even be cheaper per person compared to a shuttle. The value for shuttles is more for hotels further away from the airport since traffic can't make a pricey ride even more expensive.

I only use the shuttle when I'm by myself which is most of the time. vsop is right. If any passengers are staying at MGM, NYNY, Trop, Excal, or Luxor, the driver goes there first, but those stops aren't that bad. I've never had to go to a different terminal from where I boarded the shuttle, probably because it's just a quick exit from the terminal I board.

For what it is worth...the two times we went to Vegas we stayed at the Four Queens, both times booked Bell Trans. We landed around 9:30pm one trip and 10:15 the second trip. Once we waited 15 min. for the short bus and were the only passengers...the 2nd trip it was us and another couple...The return trip to the airport took much longer with numerous pick ups.

Used Showtime Shuttles 3x to the Aria

    First time flawless.

Second time they went Monte Carlo, NyNy, Mandalay Bay, Aria with an apology and then Ballys for the couple that was left. Crazy.

Third time they just didn't up at the airport. We waited an hour before jumping in a cab. They refunded our money.

I've done the shuttle and they told the MB people they were going to be last because they were on the other side of the street? But I was at Caesars that trip so I didn't understand the difference.

Where else did they stop? That makes sense if they did the east side first and made a loop.

I can't find this info online...is there a shuttle that goes directly downtown only?

They run a shuttle to downtown I think, yes.

These things take forever because you end up waiting 15-30 minutes for them to fill the shuttle in addition to the drive where you might be the fifth stop (even downtown they will go casino by casino depending upon where the passengers need to get dropped off.) I'd never take them again. Just get a cab or an uber.

This is especially true if there are multiple people in your group. The shuttle is a bad deal then.

We have used Airline Shuttle and they have a dedicated downtown shuttle. Supposedly it runs a loop every 30 minutes. It's hit or miss, sometimes a long wait, sometimes pretty fast loading. It takes the highway to Downtown, and depends on where you and other passengers are staying as to the order of drop off.

uber would be the cheapest and quickest way.. I had my uber before I could get to the uber stop and a direct shot.

Downtown hotels are in close proximity. It probably wouldn't be bad getting out at the first stop downtown and wheeling my bag where I stay.

Do yourself a huge favor, don't take the shuttle, however cheap it seems (it's not actually cheap compared to other options).
Before Uber/Lyft I took the shuttle many times and experienced all the troubles people mentioned above and many more.
But I don't blame them though; I blame myself, I was too stupid.

Yes, I could see if they did one side up to Strat and back down, but we went from MGM to Caesars (where I was) and then were going to Wynn/Encore so I have no idea what that rational was.
