My son and his wife are staying at Cosmo in September and he asked me if they could carry their own alcoholic drinks to the pool. I attempted to search this question through the search feature and had no luck. My guess would be they do not allow you to BYOB.

Can anyone answer this for sure?

No resort pools allow outside food and drink in the pool area.
Doesn't mean people don't sneak it in. Definitely nothing in glass containers/bottles.

I was there last weekend. On Friday, my gf slipped in a little bottle of vodka. They didn't see it in her ginormous bag. On Saturday, I tried to slip in a bottle of sparkling water. They just made me pour it in a cup and dispose of the glass bottle

We go everywhere with drinks in aluminum "water" bottles.....Sometimes we're asked to empty them. But very very rarely. I imagine I'll be bringing my aluminum "water" bottle into the Cosmo pool on Friday - I'll let you know how that goes ;-)
