This is our "main man" Cooper! His 8th birthday is tomorrow and as you can tell he's a chill cat! He's waiting for his daily massage from a massager I bought at Brookstone... he loves that thing...!
Couldn't help but post another one of our departed kitty, Orville. He liked to strike a similar pose!
She was. And she hated getting combed. I like to think that's part of the reason she hated me so much. Our house has a deck off the living room on the 2nd floor. All the pets have access out there and Cobwebs always loved to sit on that corner of the rail and survey her domain.
No doubt she ruled the roost - I like feisty! We were lucky enough to adopt litter mates from the Humane Society for our daughters. Whiskey was male, fluffy, mild mannered, and a pushover for Freckles, the female, gorgeous, bossy and feisty. We had Whiskey for 17 years and Freckles for 18 - wonderful memories - this thread makes me smile at the similarities and the mutual love and affection from these awesome pets.
No pictures since Photo Bucket stopped access to sharing. Still trying to find another sharing sight. Our mutt is almost 14 now. Shepard and beagle mix. 50# and turning very gray. She just sleeps a lot. We got her from the Humane Society when she was 6 months old and she has been a great companion for both of us. But, I'm afraid the end is coming soon. The Vet says glaucoma in one eye, losing her hearing and arthritis. We love pets and i hate when this time gets close. It is so hard.
I know what you mean, Joe. It's really hard to think about losing the ones who bring us so much love. I think the time we spend together is what makes our memories so dear when they're no longer with us.
Ok not pets per se but sure some of us have aquariums? Redid my 30 gallon tank months ago and added a couple very young Angels that have grown as huge as I ever had one over the years..Also in the picture is the tail of a 6" pleco I've had since a baby going on 10 years I believe.. They go nuts when I walk nearby, knowing fish food is coming..Pets I would not call them, but have better attitudes than some cats I have met!
My buddies from the neighborhood who chase me down while I'm walking or jogging, looking for belly rubs!
