Half of the Who are not around (obviously), still will be a great show. Seeing them on the 9th. Last time I saw them was in the early 80's on their farewell tour(?, not) in LA with The Clash. Seems like quite a few tix still available for the 9th when I looked the other day. Enjoy the show!

Going on the 4th, hoping the Friday show will be a hoot. Have them sandwiched between Lady Gaga in Vancouver on the 1st, and Cher on the 5th....

That sounds like a perfect beginning & end to me.
I was watching some of their stuff on youtube, with Pete's arm spinning,
and an interview where he talks about hearing loss....

I'm looking forward to Zak Starkey on drums.
Did you know Keith Moon was his godfather? I think thats really cool.

We'll be there Sat night when they open..... dinner before at Gordon Ramsey.
Very quick trip, but should be fun, can't wait.

Have fun seeing the concert, for us it is bittersweet. First, it's our last night in Vegas but a good concert and dinner is a great way to end a trip. Second I saw The Who in Dec of 1975 at the brand new Pontiac Silverdome, well now the Silverdome is finally being torn down and has been empty for years. The concert was really bad as Moon wanted to see if he could get his drums to echo through the dome. We were sitting floor (gen. admission) middle of the dome and all you could hear was Keith. I was 18, legal age was 18 and illegal stuff was all over, bad combo. I do remember Townsend doing his windmill and running around the stage, the concert really is a great memory though, a couple of my college friends and roommates and I, cost a big $25. for floor general admission...................Rick

The band name threw me at first too. But I won't get fooled again.

I saw The Who a couple of weeks ago at MGM National Harbor in DC. It was an awesome show. No opening acts, and played for about 2 hours. Roger sounds great still. He's not 1977 Roger, but he can still wail.

Also, I have tickets for the 8/7 show that I'm trying to get rid of (changed my travel plans). In case, you know someone who's looking (pun attended) for tickets, send me a message.

Was a GREAT bucket list kinda show. CET host really came thru, we had seats near the front. AWESOME.
    Really surprised.

Opening night, pretty darn good, like they've done this before. lol
    Enjoyed Petes conversation inbetween songs.

Roger is smaller than I imagined......think Rod Stewart size.

Petes guitar & windmill was so FUN to see, and Zak (Ringo Jr.) was fantastic on the drums.
Pete did NOT smash a guitar.

Roger.......sang fine for most of the night. He had to strain at times, I saw him grab his throat a few times.
Not sure how hes going to do with steady amount of concerts? Hopefully enough time will be inbetween,
for him to rest his voice.
IF you get the opportunity to see them, VERY Worth it.

I saw the one off show they did at Caesars last year, this probably led to them retuning this year. The show was fantastic and the best show I have seen in Vegas, they started with Who Are You and finished with the classic Wont Get Fooled Again.

Saw them on Monday and like I said in our trip report for early in their 70s rockers they sure rock. They opened with Can't Explain and finishes as always with Don't Get Fooled Again. The show went for about 2 1/4 hours and was unreal. The Coliseum is such a great venue and it was a great concert.................Rick
