Time to start looking at lines and prepping for bets. Any one else started looking yet?

As you can tell by my avatar I'm a NC State fan/alumni. So I'll start us off

So Car +5 against my Wolfpack. I think it's a FG game either way.

    I'll post more later.

Haven't looked yet, but your post reminds me it's right around the corner. I'm glad... I hate this time of year. NBA's over and baseball bores me to tears. I LOVE college football.

Haven't looked yet but also getting geeked for the season to start. NFL also but not nearly as fun to place wagers on NFL games.

I'm a very light sports bettor but this post gets me going too, it is indeed right around the corner! September- college football and the NFL are getting going while baseball has really, really meaningful games every day as teams jockey for position. The only thing that can beat it is October, when college football conference play has begun and the baseball postseason is in full swing.

I'll be out there for CFB Week 3/NFL Week 2 so I'll report back with whatever bets I like that weekend. Best advice would be to fade my picks and you guys can make some money!

I'll be taking the O in whatever the Oregon State-Colorado State total is. The Rams are going to score a lot this year.

Like the Warhawks +27 in Memphis, too.

How excited should I be about Josh Jones? He's the Rookie I'm latching onto this year in Green Bay's class.

The last few years have been futile. But there's always this year.

    Here's the lines
at Vegasinsider. Oddshark is another resource, I like the match up details they compare.

I won't be in town to bet these but a guy can dream.
    291 Oregon State +3
    292 Colorado State
O/U not out but I agree. Both teams were very good ATS last year. I'd lean OreSt to cover only because they play tougher caliber teams in the PAC12.

    195 Houston -13.5
    196 Texas-San Antonio
I'd go with Houston. 13.5 seems low

    201 Michigan -4
    202 Florida
I thought Florida struggled scoring points most of the season. Mich -4

205 Florida State +7.5 I'd take a TD in this early playoff game.
    206 Alabama

Oklahoma +44 vs UTEP. Seems like a lot without big game bob. Notre Dame -15.5 vs Temple doesn't seem like enough. Agree on Houston, Michigan, and Bama.

Oklahoma's getting 44 against UTEP? Back up the truck, and put 50 Gs on it for me too! Wait, you meant OK -44 didn't you? I'm not so sure about that.

I may tail you on the over in the Beavs Rams game. That should be a barn burner.

You're going to love Josh Jones on the Packers. The dude can hit and is always around the ball. He probably would've gone higher if he hadn't played for my team!

The Bows pulled it out! Even though the spread went the other way. I added in a ML bet and also Colo St -4. Probably means I'm in for a rough weekend :(

I'll post what I'm betting this weekend in addition to So Car +5

I took Under 71 on the South Florida/San Jose State game and won and was shocked when SJSU got out to a first quarter 16-0 lead. South Florida got their act together and I won when they kneeled down at like the 4 yard line instead of scoring, as the clock ran out. Vegas still amazes me how close they get these numbers!!! I normally hate betting "unders" and only did so because it was one of the "plays" in the LV Sun. I much prefer the feeling of rooting "for" scores to happen, as opposed to "against" them.

Kentucky -10 at USM. Kentucky ain't great, but USM is going to be bad, and this is a revenge game.

Thinking about Navy -9.5 tomorrow but not sure if I'm getting played on that line or not.
