Buffet of buffet pass... Is it worth it?

if I can swing it right and buy it around 10 am then we could have breakfast, lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day at 9 am covered.

Has anyone done this and if so was it worth it in the end?

 

I've done that but we got them for free when we signed up for the Total Rewards Visa a few years ago. I don't think I'd pay for it though because it's just too much to eat that many buffets in a row. When I was squeezing in that 4th meal (breakfast at Paris) I really didn't want to eat much. I guess it depends on how big of an eater you are. One Buffet per day is good for me. I don't need two giant meals let alone four in a row.

 

Two people going to run 100. As Mitkraft said I would only do it if I thought I could really handle more than one large meal a day. Me personally I would think find a buy one get one offer. Ie. Spice Market for lunch seen on group on my often...next day do one of the cheaper off strip places. I hear good stuff about Red Rocks buffet and you would still have 50 or more left over for another nice meal between but that's just me.. I don't really think it's a bad deal. I just can't see doing more than one buffet a day.

 

When I've done it in the past I've gotten two dinners out of it and in that case it was worth it. I'm not usually near a CET location during breakfast or lunch. When I've gotten the most meals out of the pass it was dinner-lunch-dinner. Since the dinners are the most expensive meals, it cost less to buy the pass than to buy the two dinners.. If you're not getting two dinners, then I don't think it's worth the cost. The cost keeps going up too; how much is the buffet pass these days?

 

I agree to start with dinner one evening and finish with dinner the next evening just before it expires. With Planet Hollywood buffet closed off, I don't know if I'd get it now.

 

A breakfast buffet and a sandwich for dinner is about all I need. Buffet of Buffet would be a waste for me. Just not that serious.

 

It was one of those ideas that sound great in theory and I have done it before, with the two dinner route. However, that was when the prices were lower, and even then it was more of a chore to get through all four meals then a pleasure.

 

I've done it, but it really wasn't worth it. Felt like we HAD to eat to get our money's worth. And in Vegas 3 meals a day of buffets plus rushing to get up in the a.m. for the 4th just wasn't worth the effort.

 

Thanks everyone for the insight. We aren't huge eaters, just wanted to try different buffets. Right now it's $60 pp and caesars and rio both have $25 upgrade fees. I think we will pass after reading all of the comments. Thanks so much!

 

Dinners are more expensive meals....we go to our 1st meal about 8pm...then do an early breakfast....snacks or a light lunch then dinner to finish up around 7:30 the 2nd day...great value for us

 

Not to hijack the thread, but when did the Spice Market Buffet close?

 

The buffet (among other things) has been "half" closed down for a couple weeks ever since the hotel sustained a flood. I read it may be a while.

 

Pretty sure you save 10 a piece with TR card.

 

It's a $5.00 discount.
