For me it's spending some time at Cosmo and/or The D as I've seen a lot of good times being had there in a lot of recent TRs!* :D

*A few of you may have been expecting me to answer "My bride." :wink2: She prefers to sleep when on vacation--plus I'm not the best lover in the Pacific time zone. :(

Having been 30+times my to do list is probably different than most.
A)Play the $10 blackjack tourney at Longhorn.
    B) Hit up Jerry's Nugget for Ultimate X and eat in the very good coffee shop
    C) Enjoy the all you can eat sashimi/sushi at Jaydze(M Resort)
    D) Play $5 bj at ELCO whilst enjoying cold beer from the rectangle of ice
These would cover the first two days :usa:

    1. Finally stay at Caesar's Palace! (we've had comp nights available there for years but never used them as we prefer downtown. We're finally doing it on our August trip for one night, then retreating to MSS for our first stay there)
    2. Be patient enough to wait for space to play craps somewhere downtown (used to play all the time in Reno at Club Cal Neva but never in LV)
    3. Go play bingo at the Plaza (keep meaning to do this but we always forget...)
    4. Gamble, gamble, gamble, gamble.
    5. PROBABLY will also go to Giordani's for Chicago style pizza. It's really tasty and we did it last trip right after they opened in December or so.
    6. Hit up Jokester's Comedy Club at The D. We love seeing live comedy!
    7. Play my first VP tourney! Got an invite to the one at MSS so that's the "reason" for this trip.
    8. Play Sigma Derby!

Well, on our next trip my niece will turn 21 so her father (my wife's brother) suggested a "family" trip to Vegas to help the niece celebrate.

Since there will be a huge disparity in ages (from 6 years to 60 with a few teens thrown in, LOL!) there is a challenge to see what as a family we can do together. We already have loose plans like CC, Excaliber, Red Rock, Pinball Hall of Fame, etc.

But I was thinking of proposing a "group slot pull" for the adults after the kids are in bed. And another proposal is the adults come down to the craps table around 7 to 8am or so and we commandeer a table and play together. So much in our family have heard of my craps adventures and they would like to try but were intimidated to go by themselves. This way they won't be afraid and I believe it will be a fun experience!

After reading all these trip reports we are going to have to try a stay at Cosmo.

We are early morning people and haven't done a full strip walk at night. Probably a lot cooler. :D

I want to try craps! Read about it...listened to people talk about...watched people play. Seems exciting at times! Its an item on my bucket list ....not that I plan on going anywhere soon! Going back in Jan ...meeting a fellow VMBr who plays would make my day.

Yes! My friends and I were playing $5 BJ in the side pit at ElCo last time and tipping the dealer well. The pit boss personally made sure I was never without a cold beer from the rectangle of ice, replacing mine when it was just about empty. Best gambling experience of the trip!

    1. Do the tour de coupon downtown with the wife.
    2. Pizza Rock purple potato pizza - probably 2 slices
    3. Try atomic liquors for the first time
    4. Michael Jackson Cirque show for the 2nd time
    5. High Roller - I know it's touristy but I want to go to say I've done it
    6. Get a rental car and hit up every off-strip off-downtown casino with any freeplay offer from ACG/LVA
    7. Casino Royale for cheap gambling on-strip
    8. Stay at Cosmo for 2 nights, followed by staying at Plaza 2 nights.

    Tentative plans seem to be:

    - Arrive at Cosmo for early check-in and talk the nice desk clerk into getting us into Chelsea Tower
with a fountain view, please. :D
    - Go to lunch at Holstein's. See what they have to offer for food and drink. :feedme:
    - Hit up the bars and try the newest foofy cocktails. (Can't believe we didn't hit one bar there last visit)
    - Look for the newer slots and try them out. Then get some handpays going. :headbang:
    - Maybe take a nap. I was so excited on our last trip I didn't take my traditional Vegas power nap.
***Unless falling asleep while sitting on the terrace and waiting for room service counts. (ok, I guess that counts)
    - Dinner at Beauty & Essex. Nice list of small plates to share and some more foofy cocktails sounds
decent. Heard good things about it.

    Next day:

    - Breakfast at The Henry. Their spicy bloody mary with green chile infused vodka is yummo.
I'll have a couple of those, please. And an everything bagel with a shmear.
    - I'm sure everything will get foggy by then and we'll just wing it for the rest of the day...
Not such a bad thing. :drunk:

Another 2 day hit and run :biker:, so we'll see.
