Over the years Las Vegas has become our favorite vacation spot and we gave up on the strip many years ago. We always rent a car so we have total mobility to go where we want when we want. In early September we will be doing three days at The Orleans and then four days at The Red Rock Resort. It seems as we've gotten older it is harder and harder for us to adjust to the three hour time change from the east coast and we've just grown more comfortable with going to bed when we're tired and getting up when we've slept out. As a result we find ourselves up very early most mornings and can probably take advantage of some of the famous graveyard specials around town. What are some favorites we should try in casinos or elsewhere? The more we visit town the more we enjoy this kind of exploring. We always hit Ellis Island at least twice for the ham and eggs breakfast there, where else should we try?
Main Street Station 777 pub before 7 AM. Some really good food and drink specials. They close it down at 7 AM and reopen with their regular menu at 11 AM.
Terrible's used to have some great specials from 11pm to 2am but I'm not sure if any of that got retained when it changed over to Silver Sevens. I've always liked to eat some good Pho when I'm still up at the butt crack of dawn and I thought I remembered a 24 hour place that had some but I'm drawing a blank. Peppermill is always a good late night spot as is Hash House A Go Go in Linq. Both are 24 hours with great food but I wouldn't call them "deals".
Coronado Cafe in the South Point has excellent graveyard specials including a $4.95 7-oz NY Strip w/2 eggs, hash browns and toast. http://southpointcasino.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/LateNiteSpecialsDura.pdf Klondike Sunset has 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, hash browns and toast for $1.49 and you don't have to get up early to take advantage of the special.
I believe that Palace Station has an entire menu of "Graveyard Specials". I recall seeing a sign detailing them over one of the interior exits. Don't know if these are still in effect. My last trip to Palace Station was in October 2016.
South Point and Palace Station both have their specials. I've only eaten the specials at South Point and they were really good.
Market Street Cafe in the Cal has graveyard specials 11 PM - 9 AM including Two Pancakes, Two Eggs, Two Bacon or Sausage - $4.99
downtown Grand has late half price special 2-5 a.m. and p.m. as with all specials, they change frequently, so always check first.
Since you're going to be out at Red Rock, you're quite close to the Rampart who have a great graveyard special....$2.99 each. I've tried everything except the pancakes and it's excellent!
