Hi, I've been to Vegas four times. My next trip is October. Any pointers would be helpful as to best places to visit for Halloween, best happy hours downtown, best food at great prices, low limit blackjack and roulette, I love a bargain and can't wait to see your Vegas secrets, offers and freebies. Thank you in advance.

Welcome! You can google happy hours in Las Vegas strip or downtown and will get a lot of info on times, what's offered, small plates, etc. Lots of choices and a great way to save.

the happy hours and food specials change often. check back closer to October.
the Fremont tends to have the best drink specials.
you said that you like bargains, so it would be a good investment to get the LVA and/or ACG coupon book. they pay for themselves easily, especially downtown.

Next month will be my...... 3rd trip in just a year. Never done this. The only reason I am even going next month is because I am visiting friends in Denver and I was curious about the prices from Denver to Vegas. Only 30 bucks. With comped aka resort fees only rooms, I said, why not?!

Welcome to the board! The happy hours and food specials are always changing, so it's better to check within 60 days of your trip. My favorite steak house downtown is Oscar's, great food and reasonably priced.

I went to Vegas for Halloween for the 1st time (1st time for Halloween, dozens of times for Vegas) last year and basically hung out on Fremont Street the entire night. It turns into a huge block party with 90% of people in costumes with 4-5 live bands playing at one time up and down the street. Well definitely do it again this year.
