Heading back in two weeks and seeing if we can feasibly maintain Platinum level. I can't find my notes about how many dollars we would actually need to spend, ignoring any multipliers they have for slots, etc.

In Mlife program, how many dollars= 1 point? Vague memory it's $3-5=point.....

    Thank you!

Gambling or resort spend? I know you get more for resort spend than gambling. It also depends on what tier you are as the higher you get the faster the tier points come.

Thank you for posting this! That clarifies resort spend. I'll figure out how many $ = 1 base point gaming, and be all set for gaming part of the equation....

I could be totally wrong but I was thinking $3.00 for 1 point in slots and $10.00 for keno and not sure what else. Not sure why I think that but maybe someone else will know.

Just curious from the OP about maintaining platinum? I'm 30k from platinum and have no interest in going back before the reset. No big perks with platinum, unless I'm missing something.

That is 100% correct, sort of. The picture linked on here just says how many TC's you get per point, but it doesnt show how much coin per point.

The correct answer in vegas is $3.00 coin in on SOME slot machines. $10.00 coin in on Video- Poker, Keno, BJ ETC AND Specialty Slots. So what is a Specialty slot? The easy answer is any new game that you actually want to play is a Specialty Slot. They say it is licensed games, like Britney Spears, WOZ, Wonka, Hangover ETC and any game with a larger progressive (Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks ETC).

It seems like every new game at an MGM casino is being tagged as "specialty".

The older mechanical reels and generic themed slots (Maid of Money, Texas Tea, Noah;s Ark ETC) should still be $3.00 coin for 1 point. 1 point = 10 Tier Credits + 1 penny in slot play + 1 penny in express comps.

If all games were $3.00 for 1 point, it would be the best club in Vegas since it would return 2 pennies for every 3 bucks in coin. But the 10 to 1 is shit and is just on par with CET for slots.
