Why do I hear Reuben telling the guys to give Dominic their addresses so he can send them some remanded furniture from Oceans 11? Oops... wrong city. Still... Everything must go!

I'm in Philly and saw it on the 11:00 pm news last night, they have a football stadium sized room loaded with stuff, the prices are marked but they want everything to go so the prices will continue to drop until everything is gone.

No slot machines are being sold according to press reports.

TVs are/were $50 and up, poker tables were a few hundred, with the 10-seat jobs at $650, IIRC.

The Taj was a really rundown casino hotel, so I doubt anything they are selling is worth even a nickel. Besides, they took Trump's name off everything so you can't even have the fun of owning something that was once owned by the real life version of Biff Tannen from "Back to the Future".

The Chairman's tower wasn't that old. If they are selling some of that stuff it may not suck.

Some of the restaurants had been refreshed over time, too.

They spent a fair amount of money there in the 2004-2007 timeframe before PA started crushing them.

There is plenty to pick from as well. All furniture in all rooms are being sold. If you don't like one room, try the next! If I lived near by I would 100% be a shopper. I'd turn one of my guest rooms into a Taj room.

How do you beat all this for $299?

Looks like the hot sheet no tell motels along the White Horse and Black Horse Pike will be over for a deal. 10% Buyers Premium.

Some guy took the Liquidation sale literally, he took a shower in one of the rooms.

Amazing what a long focus and a fish eye camera lens can do.

Here is a link to a NJ dot com article about the sale, lots of photos.

One of the other articles I read said someone had bought all of the sheets before the sale had even started. I'm thinking Ballys

Slightly OT, but if you ever want some Vegas nostalgia in AC, someone bought up a bunch of stuff -- flatware, signage, bar stools, tables, etc. -- from the Riviera liquidation sale and used the stuff to open an open air beer garden on the Caesars pier. A little vintage Vegas on the ocean.

Is the beer garden still open on the pier?
