    Hey all,

Will be heading out to Vegas this fall for a college football and NFL watching/betting weekend. I'm not a huge UFC guy so I booked everything before I realized there was a UFC fight at T-Mobile the weekend we'll be out there.

Anyway, just wondering if you seasoned vets have any advice on the best places to watch games, what time to get to the book/bar each day, any killer deals during game days, etc. We tend to bounce around the strip throughout each day so location isn't a huge factor. Price isn't a huge deal but I'd rather pay $X per drink than $2X, so any deals are great as we'll be doing a lot of drinking. More concerned with whether the place is lively and fun than saving a couple bucks, though. Will be a mixed group of Ohio State and Notre Dame guys so anywhere that happens to be a bar that is pro either of those is a bonus.

    Thanks in advance!

    Following.

Planning a trip for opening College Football weekend. I contacted Lagasse's Stadium - reservations accepted 2 months in advance, and Mirage Sportsbook - told me to check back in August about reserving one of their package deals.

I love TAP at the MGM. It's right next to the book. I've shown up 30mins early on Sundays and got seated no issue.

A great deal I found on my last trip was the groupon for an all day open bar at AmeriCAN bar on the Linq promenade. I think it was like $25 (normal price is $50, I think). I arrived at 9am on a Saturday and drank for free all day while I watched all the college games and bet on my phone. Any time I needed to go for a walk, I'd head across the way and gamble a bit at Linq or grab a bite at Flour & Barley (AmeriCAN lets you bring in food). Best part was it was a beautiful day out and the place is open air.

I'm planning on doing the same thing for an NFL Sunday when I'm back in October.

    Tag Bar at the Linq

They bring a mobile betting station with attendant there. It was great for us last year.
