It's been a while since we've been to The Wynn. Thinking of going for dinner one night and thought we might get a drink at Parasol Up/Parasol/Down then the Lake of Dreams show. With some changes to the Wynn, are both of these venues still open? How does one go about seeing the Lake of Dreams show? Are tickets/reservations required? Thanks for any helpful information.

They're both still open. Parasol Down is the one with the Lake of Dreams show.
No tickets necessary. You're paying for the show with buying a pricey cocktail or two.
Mid-week is better for outside seating on the Lake than it is during the weekend.
After sundown is when the shows start on 15-30 min. intervals.

If you time it right, you can get a table and enjoy the serene lake and beautifully lit trees while enjoying a lovely cocktail... then go to the bathroom when the show is about to start.

Saw five shows when we were there in April, not one would I rate higher than "What the Hell was that?". YMMV, however.
