Closest dispensary to the Strip?

Where are the closest dispensaries closest to the strip that is easy walking distance?

Not a dispensary, but I got some killer stuff from a guy in front of Harrah's for $20, couldn't even finish it in 5 days lol

 

Guess there are none that is easy to walk from the strip.

 

Depending on where you are on the strip, the one close to Fashion Show Mall (Reef Dispensaries) may be what you are looking for.

There is a dispensary on the Strip. But since it's between SLS and The STRAT , it's closer to Fremont than Tropicana.

 

Could pop onto the monorail and walk from SLS to either that one or the one down on Sahara.

 

I was actually thing about doing this seems like a good option.

 

My first trip to Vegas in six years approaches, Although I haven't smoked weed in years, I plan on purchasing and smoking legal Marijuana. For a someone who was a teenager in the 70's it's gonna be kinda surreal. Even if I just take a single puff It's something I want to do. Any tips on cost and where a good dispensary is located ? thanks in advance.

Near as I know, you have to have a valid recommendation/card from another state to be able to buy in Nevada at the dispensaries. But I believe Nevada is the ONLY state who allows recommendations from other states to be used.

Can a local confirm or deny?

 

I wondered the same thing. I think anyone can buy it even without a card. I found this newspaper article that lists some law FAQs.

These threads are about recreational purchasing. Anyone with cash over the age of 21 can purchase from a licensed dispensary.

 

Yes recreational Marijuana is now legal. Anyone over 21 is allowed to purchase it.

 

I wonder if Vegas is like Amsterdam where it is best to consult with locals to find the best locations. The quality and cost in Amsterdam vary considerably and I would bet Vegas would be the same.

 

I hit up about five of these places last trip and can tell you that I had the best experiences further from the Strip. My personal favorite was Essence on Tropicana out past the Orleans. Nice guys, and no wait when I was there. However, this was pre-recreation.
