Thinking about a good late breakfast buffet and making it my big meal of the day. Never been to the Wynn buffet or Bacchanal other than dinner. Are they just lunch oriented with a few breakfast items or are they big-time breakfast choices? Or, does anybody have other ideas that I am not thinking of for a weekday breakfast?

They're all breakfast items, like bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy, omelette station, fresh fruit, congee (for the Asians), etc. You'll get a good idea of the selection by seeing the images on Google Images. Not sure if breakfast-only is up your alley, but I personally like it and prefer eating there than some cafe that I would probably order the same things at anyways.

Does Wynn kick people out of the buffet between breakfast and lunch? If not, you can get some breakfast and some lunch by showing up right before the end of the breakfast time whenever they are changing over the food.

That used to be my and my BFFs strategy. However, a lot of casinos have changed by:

1)Setting the same prices for breakfast and lunch, and calling it brunch
    2)Closing between meals

    from the Wynn website:

"Open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 11 a.m., for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and dinner from 3:30 until 9:30 p.m. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with dinner hours from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m."

So they don't do #1 or #2. I've been to the Wynn Buffet several times, but only once for breakfast. The line was 45 minutes long at 30 minutes to opening, so it took us an hour and 15 minutes to be seated. This was on a weekday. I won't eat there again unless I have a head of the line pass.

My experience was that the Wynn breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had. Usually, you say, we'll just have an omelet, and the buffet spread will be the same as everywhere else, but here they had so many unique dishes, for instance, organic steel cut oatmeal with toppings, very nice elaborate yogurt parfaits, and maple bacon were just a few I remember off hand. There were so many good dished to choose from there was no way I was going to have an omelet there. In addition, they serve Wynn Reserve Coffee (they have this at all meals) which is one of the best coffee's available in town. We walked out of there like we had a full brunch. I was stunned how good the breakfast was!

Walk to the Peppermill and have the Maserati ten egg omelette. You'll be full for $15.

That is possibly one of the origins of your name "..Flusher".

Also, being full for 15.00 is not the goal here. I can get full for 5.00 on gas station microwave burritos. Of course, I could then be known as Royal Flusher II !

On the corner of AnyStreet and EveryStreet. Right next to the spinning hot dog roller-thingy and beside the Baskin-Robbins 31 flavor-style Beef Jerky display. (hint...don't eat that hot dog, it's been there since the station was owned by a guy who has no chance of being deported back to his country)
